Main Menu De-Cluttering

At the moment, the main menu has a lot of information on it. While veterans of the game have grown accustom to what it all means and appreciate the wealth of information immediately available to them, new players may be instantly confused and disorientated after they launch the game for the first time. I theorize that the recent unpopular hiding of the battle pass UI on the main menu was in an attempt to clear up the main menu, even if only a little.

I love the fact that my squads are once again editable from the main menu screen, however it is undeniable that their modification menu takes up a lot of space.

I propose that the modification menu simply be hidden until the player MOUSES OVER any of the squads they have in their current line-up.

This would clear up some of the room on the main menu, while making it still easy to quickly inspect and modify all of your equipped squads. No extra clicks.

In Summary: in this system, the modification menu is hidden until the player mouses over a squad. When the player mouses over a squad, the modification menu for that squad appears. The player can then move their mouse from the squad icon into the modification menu and start customizing soldiers. If the mouse is moved elsewhere on the screen, the modification menu would disappear. If a player wants to keep the modification menu of a certain squad open they could simply click the icon for the squad, as they can in the current system.

If there is any confusion, when I am referring to the “modification menu”, I am talking about the window where the soldiers and their weapons is shown.
