I didn’t notice this before, but players appeared in Tunisia who automatically drop a grenade on death, even if it was a one-shot(>15dmg). Obviously, this has something to do with a recent patch that introduced a separate hotkey for dropping a grenade in wound mode.
I have been playing FPS for a long time to say that this is 90% some kind of software or macro. Have you noticed something like this? Take a closer look while playing. This abuse is actually very effective for Zerg rush tactics, and allows one soldier to take out entire floors in Tunisia.

If you shoot a guy who’s already cooking a grenade he will drop it. It’s always been like that.
Nah I know what he means. Met a really shady guy in Tunisia who repeatedly stormed points 1 guy at a time, never more, gung blazing. I often shot him dead AS HE WAS SPRAYING around with smg… he still “shat” (sorry but it’s really what it looks like) grenades upon insta death from my bolt action…

i’m not denying that macro players exists,
although, how can macro affect this?
like, the macro is not a recognizer that whenever you die, the macro automatically activate it’s self as soon " somehow dectect " that the soldier is downed.
perhaps must be side mouse buttons. like as soon the guy him self realize he is downed, activates them relatively quickly with side mouse buttons.
but i don’t think through macros

I met someone as weird as the guy described here.
It happend on Normandy, some months ago.
Every single time I would kill him, he would instantly detonate himself, even if he had a weapon in his hands milliseconds before dying (killed, not downed).
It was extremly weird and this was before they added a timer for the explosive packs/grenades thrown after getting downed (he wasn’t even downed though), so they would explode instantly, which made things even more frustrating.
