Machine gun belt. But there is a nuance

I understand why Axis players want a machine gun with a 100 or 150 round belt. BUT, do you really want such a pathetic model of the Mg34/42? Maybe make a normal model of the weapon and belt first. That’s the suggestion. Make a good model of the cartridge belt and a good animation
I don’t know about you, but I don’t find it aesthetically pleasant to play with such a weapon.

It doesn’t matter how aesthetics look now, we need a MG42 with a 250 round magazine with a rate of fire of 1800

I have better.

We could easily solve that by adding the ammo box.

But then it will have at least 250 rounds.

Rather, double the reload speed of loose belt MGs - while reducing the reload speed of those 50 round boxes.

Those boxes were actually pretty cool.

isnt that little too high to be effective?

It’s for realism, it would be weird to have the box so underloaded.
This is a 100 round belt.

Right sorry XD
Over 9000 is obviously a meme

well cause of weird obsession that some people have with 1800 rpm MG… it would make MG almost unusable if not bipoded and also idk if game can even process 1000 rof weapons without losing bullets, not to mention 1800.

That Wolfenstein 1946 mg

Well since the Stinger 100 round box magically fits 200 rounds… its not like simply giving those MGs bigger belts would matter anyways…

Somehow russian and US (also some german ones I think) weapons, mainly SMGs, have their historical high rof and there are no BS excuses like in case of MG42 family.

we already have thing with over 1000 rof anyway (the bp russian pistol for example) so high rof mg for german shouldnt be a problem

Fire rate isnt super realistic in Enlisted to begin with…

Honestly with the high damage MGs have anything above 1000 is overkill, but maybe be one day we will have a historically accurate 1200 rpm MG42 with a 250 round belt for event or GO gun.
I’m sure there would be many crying allied mains, even though it’s just the Axis equivalent of Stinger.

Enlisted already has MG with 1650 rof, so… And the recoil is very comfortable.

yep it really nice tbh

well iirc mg42 had 1200 rof and that 1500/1800 rof was for airplane guns and was too fast rof for infantry.

well it is same BS devs always use… artificially lower recoil so high ROF weapons can be controllable. otherwise it should have had 60% more recoil than mg42 when firing.

The MG42 will be very effective at all with that Rate of Fire along with a 250 round Ammunition Belt.
