M9 (M9A1 really) Bazooka Sight Problems

The M9 Bazooka currently does not have adjustable sight settings, although the model clearly has an adjustable sight on it. This makes scoring hits at long ranges more difficult compared to something like the M1 Bazooka which does have an adjustable sight. It would be nice to be able to adjust the sight to make more accurate hits at long range.

The sight picture is also wrong, rather than having a simple crosshair, it should be a reflector with a sight picture that looks like this

Also, the model used in game is technically not an M9, rather it is an M9A1, which you can easily tell by the fact that it has an optical reflector sight, rather than irons like the M1 Bazooka. So either the model should be changed to have sights that work the same as those on the M1, or the weapon should be renamed, the sight picture should be changed, and a way to adjust the optical sight should be added.

Image and info is from Forgotten Weapons’ M9A1 video

Edit: it appears the sight they used on the in-game model is actually from an Airsoft replica 90th IDPG Zeta Labs M9A1 Airsoft Bazooka

i must confess i dont use the sight adjustment on bazookas and panzerfausts.
i just waste 1 rocket.
to see how high i should aim :expressionless:

i dont like to waste my time on that sort of thing.

I use it all the time, I find it way easier to just set it to 100 as soon as I spawn and adjust from there when I know I’m going to be engaging at longer ranges. Plus the better sight picture would just be better all around even if you don’t use the adjustable sight.

Not really the line for the M9 are better than all other launcher

Still not as good as the reflector since you would have more clear markings to reference, and would still be better with adjustable elevation. Also, when I was trying to find where they got the in-game sight from, I found that it was from an Airsoft replica.

I don’t have much of a problem ranging in sights, but I’m good at arcing shots in video games anyways. That being said, having an adjustable, and accurate, sight would be nice regardless

By the way, this is an interesting picture

I assume that if this sight was made by Polaroid, then most likely the sight works like a camera sight

on a dark background the bull’s eye is red

on a light background the bull’s eye is white, translucent
