M8 rocket is simply broken and must be nerfed to WT state

You are level 4 at Normandy allies? Congratulations! You now get the amazing M8 rocket that can OHK all tanks in the game, except Maus(btw you can also OHK M1 Abrams and T72 with M8 rocket), even though it can only pen 25mm in WT, and without any requirement of skills: you can master it without basically any practice(unlike all other rockets like RBS82, RBS132, etc)

King Tiger? No problem!

Idea to rebalance M8 rocket:

  1. Nerf it to the WT state, as it should be(my personal preference), as a result it can never OHK top tanks like tiger or King Tiger or IS 2; or

  2. Give Normandy Axis a tank that is immune to M8 rocket, that is, Maus; or

  3. fix the damage model of german 20mm gun, so that it performs the same like it in WT; or

  4. It should be counted as an attacker, just like before

The core problem is not M8 rocket being too OP, but it’s too OP as a level 4 unlock, and even as a figter. Amercian already has tons of tanks that can kill tanks easily: 1. P-51 D5 with 2x500lb as a figter and the only figter in game that has 250kg; 2. P-47 D28; 3. A-20; 4. P-38 J15.

TLDR:

I want to gray zone camp with the most powerful tanks in the game without a counter, so i can farm the other team

There is tons of counter, like:

  1. planes: A-20 & P-47 & P-38 J15;
  2. explosives and rocket laucher;
  3. tanks, like M10 & M4A1 76mm & Sherman Firefly, and both M10 & M4A1 76mm can OHK tiger

Devs please do not ‘balance’.

If they dont like it they can go to other titles ruined by balance.

OP, was there balance in WW2 or was each weapon made to out gun the enemys?

Theres a weapon in this game to counter everything. Using ones brain should be a start.

Like in all other campaigns.

  1. how should a level 4 Tunisia Axis player deal with a Sherman?
  2. How should a level 4 Berlin Allies player deal with a King Tiger(H)(not in but would be in Berlin)?
  3. How should a level 4 Moscow Axis player deal with a T-34 76?

T-34 cannot pen Tiger H, which is not in Berlin yet, but 100% would be.

Starter tank cannot pen top tank is selfevident in this game, except some few exceptions.

Nor do they annoy me as they are still easily countered if you actually think a little and know what to do.

If you wouldnt be, you would probably be too hard to hit, too many buildings. Or you would be taken care of by infantry

Axis have way more powerful tanks. Its good balance that they can be countered by the simplest of planes

sure if they also nerf the 21cm AT capabilities too since there is no way in hell that can go through the UFP of the m4a2 yet it can in game
