the pershing outclasses the tiger 1, impenetrable front side.
lol then no tiger 1
honestly I think it would be fine with how long the reload would be on the 105mm.
But personally, Iâm more of the opinion that the better counterpart of the IVH would be an M4A1 76mm model, given we had a bunch ready to go for D-Day in the UK, even if the tank commanders rejected their use for the landings themselves, it would at least be far better than the Jumbo in the accuracy department, and would have equal ability to penetrate the IVH.
But this is where I think that the asymetric tanks in general are an issue, and that the scott should be paired against the short barreled Puma, the 3N should be given itâs HEAT round it had historically, and the 105mm Sherman and 3N should be counterparts, where the IVH and Jumbo are in the tech tree right now, With the IVH and M4A1 put up against each other, then have a Panther D vs Firefly or Jumbo at the top of the campaign tree. (as per ; Suggestion for Normandy Campaign restructure and rebalance )
But thatâs me.
Before adding tanks of that level they should provide proper AT guns and AT weapons
I mean, generally speaking the towed AT guns are correct for the time period, save the Normandy German AT gun, which I think they decided to give them the 50mm to be closer in performance to what the allied forces are using there.
As for AT weapons, Iâm sure weâll get more as we push up to 40 campaign levels. Though the Sturmpistole should be replaced by a more capable AT weapon in normandy, otherwise I think AT weapons are in a reasonable spot right now. Could / should be better with their post-pen damage to components, but everything else is on point for infantry carried AT weapons.
I still have footage of firing the panzerfaust. It can kill a whole squad. Thatâs probably why they didnât add it.
I mean, youâve got panzerfausts on Berlin, and theyâve nerfed HEAT since CBT in general. Not really the point I was making, though, youâve got a few different AT rifle grenade options for the Germans, with the Gross Panzergrenade 46 being the closest in performance to the PIAT and my normal recommendation for such.
