Why TF is the Sherman for Normandy Allies the M4a1 (W) 76. The Americans ditched the M4a1 production lines once their production got up to speed and by 1944, where almost exclusively producing M4a3s. All 76 Shermans in 1944 would have been M4a3 because the M4a3 was the one with the best engine, and thus most experimentation occurred with M4a3s. Conversions of the M4a1 came much later when excess T-23 turrets became available due to the production lines getting up to speed. I’m not asking for the 76 Jumbo, I’m just asking for the M4a3 (W) 76 god damnit. Make the M4a1 (w) 76 the M4a3 (w) 76 please, the M4a1 looks like a piece of shit and should stay in the hellhole of Tunisia.

until normandy axis is able to OHK the jumbo this will remain the norm, btw stop use tanks in general and use the p47 if the team is decent you can literally win whole objective in minutes.

If they don’t lift it form WT where the m4a3e8 had with them nerfing the 500 HP engine to 450 Hp, funny enough Pershing and jumbo share the engine and still have the 500HP engine, and this last update they lowered the turret drive to be less than panther A
Or try to play objectives i know is hard be an american soldier and dont do explosion around but help a lot

I don’t use the P-47 because A) everyone fights over the attacker slot B) my team always losses momentum whenever I get into the air. Also, I don’t care so much about balance (otherwise I might be calling for the 76 Jumbo), I care more for the fact the M4a1 (w) 76 is even less historically accurate than the Jumbo.

i dont like the weapons of the US (i still use the m3a1) i prefer using vehicles
M4a1 was used in Normandy, but the 76 was not mounted on it until much later. the M4a3 (w) 76 would have been the first 76 the American forces got, and it would have been the one they had been offered before D-day.

Not true, first versions to convert to 76 was M4A1. And they were used in Normandy.

The german are not more smart only better equipped most of the time
The T23 turret on a Sherman program was done with M4a3s, so it should be on the M4a3.

yep thats why i like axis side more and play more infantry, good equipment, amazing veichles, advantage starting positions.
it’s just better in every way
last time i literally quit normandy campaign entirely (playing us), not happend in any other campaign.
But some time they full end gear equipped manage to lose in D-DAY aganaist BA player, stupidity is in both part personally i dont have preference i want only play good match

I get it, M4A3 should be there, it is better.
But saying that Jumbo is more historically correct than M4A1 76 is just plain bullshit.
