M3 Stuart with flamethrower. Need a keybind for the flamethrower!

The Flamethrower is bound to the same action as the main gun. I’ve tried assigning the different turret options, regardless of what I did ‘turret 1’ always fires the hull flamethrower.

It makes the tank kinda useless if I want to actually use the 37mm gun at range, all I’m doing is creating a rock and roll concert finale each time I fire the main gun. Which is a shame because I like the idea of picking off tanks and rushing in to burn infantry.

Basically, we need another keybind - or assign the hull flamethrower to ‘turret 3’.

I’ve found that you can use the gunner position to fire the 37mm gun without having fire go everywhere. It’s not ideal but it makes the tank more usable. Just in case anyone else has the same problem.

I haven’t gotten any kills with it. If anything it’s a weakness because the tank has no additional armor, since you are forced to shoot fire every time you use the main gun (changing the key binds doesn’t work) which not only makes it harder to see but also makes you a much more attractive target. The flamethrower needs to have much greater range and fire control independent from the main gun to be relevant.

The swapping out of HE for APCBC has no noticeable impact in terms of armor confrontations compared to regular AP.

Frankly I was hoping they’d introduce a Sherman variant to help offset the huge Japan surge in terms of buffs and skilled players since it would help with offensive breakthroughs without being OP since Rocket AT weapons are available.
