M22 Locust…Airborne Tank

So I don’t know if anyone else knows this, but the M22 was designed at the British request for a tank they could airdrop into battle. They only used it as such like once and then sold them all off to…Egypt I believe is who bought them
Regardless, airborne tank. Paratrooper. Armor. It literally wouldn’t even be useful because of how 90% of the maps are laid out. If you ain’t on the roads you ain’t going nowhere. Lol. Not to mention it’d almost certainly just constantly get stuck inside the terrain immediately after landing
Just saying, it’d be cool to have. You can bet I’d be dropping in right next to enemy tanks and blowing their lids with that 37mm. I can absolutely take advantage of the lack of situational awareness and pop some tops. I already deleted a Pv IV with the LVT like 2 hours ago because dude didn’t know I was there and I hit his ammo. Good stuff

Anyways, just an idea. If anyone wants to harass the devs into adding something so stupid, it’d be cool

I would Say unrestricted tank air drop as paratrooper already do wouldnt work, this because the tank can fall on scenary object and get stucked withaut any possibilities of move, also It would extrimely Easy destroy It or heavily damage It during the drop, by firing with anti anti tank weapon in the tank belly

Locust is cute vehicle. They should add it but without any para gimmick.

Literally already pointed out how useless it would be by it constantly getting stuck in terrain
Plus, if you manage to kill a tank as it’s falling mid air, you deserve a medal of honor. That’s some cool crap right there

Let’s face it, if the M22 is added in any capacity at all it will 100% be solely a meme tank. Might as well let it be a meme tank in its full glory as a paratrooper tank

It’s already one of the biggest meme tanks of all time. Might as well let it be a meme in full glory. Besides, paratroopers get regular ground spawn too

They would have never been dropped during an active battle. I want locust but without parachute mechanics

Dang none of you want stupid meme tank as the Red Coats imagined it?

I want to keep some realism

This is literally what it was designed to do

I want that to never happen
What’s your point?

if you want diversity and not get bored by playing the same things over and over, then change your BR its simple like that.

Or did you mean why i wrote this?
Cause i did read the Post and someone did write what he want, so i did write what i want simple.

They didnt drop them on top of the enemies.

Locust (and Tetrarch) weren’t “airdroped”. This tanks were transported on large glidder like the Horsa or Hamilcar. These glider had to find a large field in order to land undamaged, the tank were not parachuted.

Exactly

They could also be transported in pieces via c54 skymasters

I just read that as well, But I am pretty sure that this does not involve paradropping them.

I dont think it does.

Germans air lifted a StuG to Monte Cassino, but current maps are way too small for gliders so it doesn’t matter, unless we get big action mode.

So it basically that one British power from CoH2 right? Where a glider fly in with a stuart

I was thinking of suggesting glider squad that do damage on impact but idk how useful that would be tbh
