Kiraly SMG fires the most powerful pistol round of the game. The whole weapon was designed to maximise the range and power of the gun so the 7.9 is less exaggerated than the Thompsons.
Though it’s realistic it does slightly less damage since 45.acp is supposed designed to “kill both the man and his horse” or so fans of it claim when arguing about 9mm and 45.acp.
Mistaking the Kiraly for a carbine is classic though, many people does think that even though it’s firing 9x25mm Mauser pistol.
Oh yeah, because it’s categorised as SMG like Mkb35 back in the day.
They can use M2 carbine if you have the smg version.
But the classic TT version should definitely not be available to guerrillas nor be reclassified. (It would just devalue the smg version)

I’ve already spent tens of thousands of silver on equipping all of my non assaulters with them, would be a huge waste of silver if they got moved unless the price was refunded.
Although I would rather see a version of the M2 made into a paratrooper weapon, the M1 or M2 would both be cool in this form for use by the Guerrilla squads.
Quite sure .30 cal tommy was part of project tommy light rifle.
There already is a paratrooper event squad with the M1A1… Enlisted is developing the same problem as War Thunder with too many event vehicles denying new additions to tech trees.

Personally I’m not 100% married to the M2 carbine for US guerillas…but overall I’d just like some damn options for BR5 lineups where I’m unironically using BR2 or BR3 SMGs

Going to throw my hat in the ring here, .30 carbine is technically an intermediate cartridge. Technically, the .30 thompson and M2 carbine are assault rifles.
