After we get North Africa and all these British weapons get replaced, I want to suggest if devs could replace the Lee Enfield with the M1917 “American Enfield”
This rifle saw quite a lot of use in ww2 by American army and it functioned similarly to the British variant
It has worse sights tho (they take much more of the screen) 
Imo, these are OK sights (much better than Springfield and early Mosins)
Why u are often talking about what would never happen? There would never be such thing like an replacement
British weapons in Normandy campaign where main nation is US are most likely placeholders.
Which developer told you that they are only placeholders?
I’d suspect theyll add MORE British weapons to normandy and not less. The webley, Sten MKV, all the Bren variants, the Enfield No 1. The “Allies” as they’re called should get more allied units to make the weapons fit. If this was just a test they would have certain earlier british weapon that were far more common in North Africa
I said “most likely” because it would make sense given circumstances. Also, I don´t recall saying that this is a statement from the developer.
Because during previous tests we could see, that there are weapons for US already modeled and working, the logical reason for not including them again would be testing weaponry for a different nation… in this case UK.
Then they would need to also add British squads and make said weapons equipable only by them (probably operators and engineers). Because US squads having these weapons makes zero sense. (And no, including such squads doesn´t justify adding Tiger 1 because there were actually some UK units on Omaha IRL)
They will be introduced in new campagin level
