I’ve tried customizing sound files in ww2_weapon_rifle.asset.bank, swapping this and that, but only M1903 Springfield that missing some firing sound when shot, only echoing sound can be heard, mostly 1 out of 5 rounds. I didn’t touch the files of this specific weapon at all. What might have caused this bug to happen? Was it related to other sound files that I changed?
Make you mod on pcm format, not vorbis

Hi. Actually, I’m customizing based on your sound mod for personal use. I haven’t touched the structure of the files of any sort since I have no experience in sound editing/modifying before, just swapping around the existing sound files from both yours and the original (changing the name of X rifle from Bigote’s and Original’s sound files and overwriting because it sounds cooler on Y rifle). Every rifle sounds fine except the M1903 Springfield. Is this still the case or related to what you’ve mentioned and how to fix that? Thanks.
Here’s the list
Rifles:
- Arisaka type 38 rifle - Changed back to its Original sound
- Arisaka type 99 sniper - Uses Original Arisaka type 38 rifle sound
- AVT-40 - Uses Bigote’s SVT-40 sound
- Breda (PG) - Uses Bigote’s Armaguerra mod.39 sound
- M1 Garand/T20 rifles - Uses Bigote’s Ross rifle
- Johnson rifle/lmg - Changed back to its Original sound
- Kar98k rifle - Uses Bigote’s Winchester M1895 sound
- Mosin M38 carbine - Uses Original Mosin sound
- Ross rifle - Uses Bigote’s Lee-Enfield sound
- Turner SMLE/Farquhar Hill rifles - Uses Bigote’s Lee-Enfield sound
- Type Hei rifle - Uses Original Type Otsu sound
- Winchester M1895 - Changed back to its Original sound
- ZH-29 - Changed back to its Original sound
- Type Otsu/Type Ko rifles - Changed back to its Original sound
Here’s how the sound bugged
In fmod bank tools click on options and change the format from vorbis to PCM
