M14/41 and M13/40 (III) tanks are the same?

I bought the M13/40 (III) thinking I’m getting a long gone unique tank, but it seems too be literally exactly the same as the tech tree M14/41?

Feels like I just got Gaijined

i mean, engine is the only difference between the two

It’s the only Gold Order vehicle that is actually a different vehicle from the progression equivalent.
(It’s worse!)

m14/41 is a version with a new engine and visually the differences between the two versions consisted only in the shape of the radiator grille and the track covers.

obviously there are also other micro details to recognize the difference between 13 and 14 but they are aesthetic such as for example M13 on the MG in the casemate had 2 bolts.

BUT M13/40 is still unlike the other gold vehicles that only have the skin different from the original in the TT a new Italian tank so for me it is worth getting it (and I will do it soon)

There’s a different A13 gold order than the tech tree A13.

The gold order one has a spaced (very thin. Maybe not effective) armour on the turret front.

There are several vehicles which have some sort of added tracked armor or similar, but the M14/41 Gold order isn’t an M14/41 at all, it’s an M14/40.

Wait.

No it’s not, A13 Mk2 1939 and A13 Mk2 are in fact different:
The A13 Mk2 1939 is in fact a MK1 with the spaced armour.

The regular TT A13 Mk2 (named mk2a) is a late production one, built with more hull armour.

So just like the M14 tech tree and gold order tank, the A13 gold order was different from the tech tree… and worse as well!

Good orders vehicles were a nice thing…

Hmm. Sounds like it needs to be raised by .3 of a BR just for that (Sherman logic in War Thunder)
