I mean if the M1 wasn’t total garbage in this game…
But yeah not everything has to be uber powerful or “the best choice and if you don’t use it you’re stupid.” Some things can be stupid fun gimmicks. Like shotguns!

I’d love to see this weapon. I may actually use a sniper class for once if they add this. I honestly don’t think the M1 carbine is as bad as everyone says it is. I do just fine with it.

Just remember, what’s the likelihood that someone’s going to be at max health? I have had a fair amount of times my M1 killed in one shot. I’d expect this to be no different for the same reasons. I’m interested in the scoped version for sure, low damage, semi large mag and good fire rate. Interesting sniper choice and the best of all it’s not full auto so it can’t be abused as easy.
That would make a cool and unique gold order for BR II, or even an event weapon choice. I can’t imagine it would be too OP as the damage is low at any kind of long range, but it could be pretty fun with a low power scope. Japan gets a tech tree machinegun with a scope at BR II so why not.
I like it, but considering I have to shoot everyone nine times with an M1 Carbine to actually kill them, I have to wonder about it’s range and effectiveness.

Three 30 round mags and you might be able to take down three enemies at range.

Well the damage of M1 isn’t total garbage - its the poor rate of fire, bad accuracy combined with long reload time for a 15 rounder that make them bad…
A very accurate sniper version would definitely be worth it in BR2 - as long as its indeed accurate enough.

I bought 4 Smith and Wesson level 2 semi auto’s from the BP way back and it’s my favorite level 1-3 semi auto. Shoots quicker then the M1 and I think is more accurate. If I could get more then just 4, I would never use an M1 again…Unless of course they had a scoped version as I would try it out. I would also love to see the German 1.5 semi auto dropped from level 3 to level 2 since I use the Gewher 41 at level 3, and the 1.5 is to good to just mothball it.

It doesn’t seem like it when your shooting someone with it though. I feel like I’m shooting a BB gun and their wearing Kevlar vests.
