LVT4 is overrated

I recently bought the LVT-4 and it is good. But it is definitely overrated.

The main point of the APC is to quickly get to the point, and dismount and let your teammates spawn on it.

Sure it has all powerful guns that could penetrate through light tanks, but how often are you really going to see a light tank in BR2 and up? Maybe 20-30% of the time. In addition, if you’re in an APC, your first reaction when you see a tank is to drive away.

This is something that the USA tech tree APC already excels at. In fact, it is the fastest tech tree APC, and the second fastest in terms of top speed behind the M3A1 halftrack. Meanwhile, the LVT-4’s top speed is lower than most Shermans.

The TT APC also comes with many hidden benefits. New players might think that it is a map prop.

In my opinion, the M3 Halftrack would definitely be better.

However, I’ll probably keep using it since it is my only US premium squad, and the extra premium slot comes in handy.

Just like all other premium squads are in the eyes of f2p players.

thats how I like to use the premium APCS anyway. I use them offensively just outside the 50 meter mark…

well, its more like an amphibious APC, youre not an assaulter car like M3a1

It has 5 MGs, is fully armoured, amphibious and tracked, it’s the best APC in the game (besides maybe the event 50mm Hannomag)

I like it, however it is on the slow side, especially if your trying to get as close to the battlefield as quickly as you can as it makes a nice juicy slow moving target for enemy tanks and infantry.

It’s an anti infantry vehicle, you should stick with your allies infantry and help them to kill enemies infantry, it’s for support role
