You can mitigate the suicide risk by dive bombing from lower altitude to avoide getting very fast, decrease attack angle or drop your ordinance at higher altitude, but all of these options heavily decrease your accuracy.

Ki 84 has entered the chat.
Iām sorry but there is nothing in this game that flies even remotely as well as the Ki 84. Itās only marginally slower than the Fw 190Ds, and can out turn basically anything at high and low speeds. The guns and bombs are also exceptional, and it has one of the best cockpits of any aircraft in the game.
As you can see I am very biased towards the Ki 84, granted itās my second favourite plane to fly in WT and the fuel thing doesnāt really affect it too badly here.

If your talking about the Fw 190A-5 one then Iām still going to have to give it to another plane ait itās BR, namely the P-40s (with the exception of the TT US one) because of basically the same reasons that I put the Ki 84 above the Fw 190A-8 and Fw 190D-12.

No i play FW 190A1 and it is FOR ME the best fighter in BR2ā¦ except the driftingā¦

The 190 at BR 2 does have a slightly better flight model, I do like it but Id still take C.202 over it
But at BR 2 the Spitfire MK VC/Top wrecks all, along with the Zero

I am pretty sure it is the instructor that is messing with the plane, I am not 100% but i think this happened in WT a long time ago. Both the stat card and resource say that the D9 has better turning time but that might be because of the bombās loadout i wish i had bought to test it.

I was thinking that too. Just from watching the rudder position when slipping. The old instructor seems to be over compensating. Get your hands off the controls!!! (or feet!)

I agree, I am a FW-190 player (I am quite good with my K/D and my flying skills) And after you had mentioned this, I just turned on my game and checked, and you are correct. I cannot believe it is 19ish Seconds or so as compared to the 14-17 Seconds on other planes.
I personally have been having outstanding games with the FW-190 A-1 & A-8, D-19 (Gold Order D-12 is my personal favorite). And I feel that whenever I am in a dogfight (I 8/10 times win) I feel that I canāt maneuver and make as many corkscrew maneuvers or flips without being out-turned by lower and slower vehicles.
I do wish to see the 19 seconds at least be shaved down to 17 seconds with payload and 16.1 without. Just so they could be on Par with enemy aircraft.
Side note, the FW-190 planes with this ādriftingā issue, Iām not sure I understand? When I fly straight, my plane cuts to the left and I have to constantly correct this movement. Is that not supposed to happen?

I have a clip I took from a game the other day. I did a high altitude bombing and released from a high altitude and got 7 kills and some extra stuff from it. I then proceeded and shot down two enemy aircraft. This was done with the FW190 D-12 Gold order.
Tbh itās my favorite plane and I love flying in this game. Iām not the best but I have some really great kills and I can hold my own against some fast
P-47 pilots and a P-38 with a veteran pilot.
I bounce from the A-8 to the D-12 depending on how I want to play. Tbh they both are great.
IMO I canāt tell what sucks and what doesnāt because I donāt have anything to compare it to.
Is the plane drifting what you all are talking about when you were trying to fly straight and it starts leaning to the left? I that in most of my planes, and it is very annoying, but I have gotten used to it and I can mitigate that problem. I do not have my controller, so that is ruled out as a possibility.

yeah, it slides, most noticeable when strafing or bombing. In 190s unless you adjust, aiming straight at your target will miss. Most other planes dont slide and shoot where you aim more or less

Iām a big fan of the G-10 very fast and has a great feel when turning and shooting. I can still pull off some good ground support and air support to other fighters and bombers.
Oh for sureā¦ I have used it alot and its still deadly. But it when you fly the other planes, they feel so much nicer.
Fiat G.55 is the nicest IMO for germany

Yeah I also take down enemy planes with the 190 D-12 and also ground targets.
But it takes more effort and I crash more.
The plane is very nervous and makes me nervous when flying it.
Most other planes are nice to fly, the D-12 is not.
I use because I want to use it, not because itās good or nice to fly.
The bomb loadout is good (I can make 3 passes) and the 30mm is great.
You can always ātry the squadā for free.
