With the new matchmaking, Br 1 is finally semi-viable, so my suggestion is to move the MP18 to Br 1. Its stats are mostly worse than the MP34(o), which is Br1.

makes sense, tho I dare to say that the MP34 is already great, thats the thing, there are many worse weapons in Germanies arsenal.

With the mm update, is it perhaps a good time to “think about” reverting all the BR 3 smgs that got moved down to br 2

Good thing that you have changed your opinion. Since some people might have already forgotten that pps-42 was always BR2 weapon. And that’s why BR of weapons like mp-40 was lowered.

ofcourse I meant fixing that too, that was the catalyst in the first place. pretty hard to forget…more than just reverting. but…I have no energy to revisit it

There are quite a few items which should probably get moved down from 5 to 4 and 2 to 1.

Btw. MP-18 is worse in literally everything than MP-28 (with exception of mag capacity).
Also ppsh 41, ppd 40, kiraly 39m and thompson 50 should be br 4.

Agree, especially regarding PPD40. Since premium version with bayonet is already BR4.
Plus I think Mkb42 should be lowered to BR4 as well.

Yep that gun is garbage you can’t hit anything unless you go prone or rush at enemies and use it like a knife.
