Um, do you know how the game works? A fighter has 10 health. If you deal exactly 10 damage to him, he’ll fall, but he won’t die. 100%.
For every point of damage, as far as I remember, the chance of exactly killing increases by 10% (I could be wrong and the figure is 20). In general, the weapon with 10 damage will at best knock the opponent to the ground
The game does not need AR, as they are good at 150-300 meters. Such distances are not in the game.
I could be wrong, but I believe it might be scaled depending on where you hit.
So you could 1 shot if you hit well.
Semi-autos were viable up to a few hundred meters as well irl. And look at them here.
So I would like it to at least work like one here. Worse rof and recoilcould compensate for that.
someone made a video.
Chest - 1x damage, so only a head hit.
Hands/feet - 20-30% less damage as I recall. Stomach, I don’t remember, but definitely no more.
A quick way to solve the problem: buff MP43 through 1. either reducing its dispersion to 0.42, and buff the default damage to 8.5. 2. or reducing the dispersion to 0.28 without damage buff @1942786.
8.5 is 9.3 damage on six stars. That’s worse than it was. I don’t agree, to be honest.
That would still leave it an outsider in DPS among all top SMGs by a 35-40% margin.
I see the way as +10% damage, +10 (instead of 15%) rate of fire, 10% reload rate, increased to 0.45-0.5 base accuracy
Honestly, accuracy is not the most important thing for SMG and AR given the distances in the game. I would like to improve it, but damage and DPS are much more important in reality.
But yes, base damage 8.7 is ok. I would still like some increase in rate of fire when improving the weapon. 7.5-10% along with good accuracy
That would be a golden mean weapon and a jack of all trades.
According my experience accuracy could be more important than you think, I’ve used MKB42H in stalingrad and it seems to be much better MP43/1(I mean seriously)
Okay, maybe so. Although Stalingrad is different in many ways from other campaigns. Will it work the same way in them.
I think we can agree that MP43 is definitely not okay right now and needs some noticeable improvements.
I have hope that they didn’t mean it. They changed the weapon class, forgetting that assault rifles have other improvement bonuses. After all, in essence, the basic characteristics haven’t changed.
All that is needed is to bring back the old improvement bonuses of the Mp43
I just wonder how many times must people appeal on the forum for the devs to at least speak something about it, let alone do something. All I have seen is that looks like they haven’t said anything about it, pretty sad
Absolutely right. If they confirmed that it wasn’t an accident, some might leave the project.
By the way, the sniper mkb in moscow still has 9.6 damage and increased rate of fire. Let them either ruin both or restore the Mp43
At least devs should give us an adequate reasoning on why it was nerfed and refund silver for mp43s that were taken away from tankers/pilots, as well as nerf the sniper mkb
If the dev do insist in using the “AR Upgrade” tree the one we have right now then it would be better if they use the old kurz dmg which is 9 hit power should be in Alpha where it has 9 hit power so including the upgrade it will deal 9.9 which can make up for it but i do hate the removal of reload and rof upgrade
For the last fricking time, it doesn’t need a nerf.
It’s not op.
Nerfing it would basically erase an entire faction.
What you’re trying to do is find logic by taking the wound that has been done and making it even larger and deeper. I also fail to find logic in this nerf, but worsening it is not gonna help.
You have to be critical. Either let them return the old mp43, or let them spoil the sniper mkb, then many people will be relieved to leave the project, because the bias will be obvious
I disagree. Eating crumbs is not respecting yourself. It’s easier for me to play other games than to struggle forever to improve my weapon.
There is no reason for mkb in Moscow to follow any other rules. They’re either both good, or they’re both crap.
