Hello, I was playing yesterday and had achieved Staff Sergeant Rank. Today I go in and play 2 battles, and notice that my rank is now Private ! This is a game killer for me. If I cannot rank up, then I will delete the game. I never had this happen in War Thunder…which I have been playing since its inception.
Please restore my rank !
Haha, I see the issue.
Rank means nothing in the game, its just a way to get a few extra bonuses, everyone’s rank resets at the end of the Battlepass Season, depending how high you got, you will start the next season a bit higher from the bottom, up to a max of starting at second lieutenant.
Its nice, it gives you a few extra rewards per season for playing well.
Show them what Staff Sergeant can do in the battlefield !

As above, the Battlepass season has ended, so your rank resets.
If you finish the season below an officer rank, then it resets to zero. If you manage to reach an officer rank then it resets back to 2nd lieutenant, IIRC.
yeah ranks are worthless, just try getting a Marshall once for an achievement and then enjoy not caring about it at all
Pretty sure there is a bit of a scale to it, I think you have to reach Major (?) to get back 2nd lt, if you reach below you only get staff sergeant I think.
Yeah, I think you’re right. I think you need to hit a “gold” rank to reset to 2nd lieutenant.
sure tbf, its not too hard anyway even if you are only rank 0, I hardly play atm, either from the game BSoD’ing me or just because the event sucked my willingness to play out of me, and even then I tend to hit Lt. Gen at least.
