Looking/jumping has changed?

Hi soldiers, I have just finished setting up my new gaming pc and also new mouse and keyboard.
Now I can see better where to shoot. :sweat_smile:

But I noticed 3 things with running/jumping and I wonder if it’s the game or my new keyboard:

  • when running I use C to look around while I continue to run in the same direction. This has changed, now the running direction changes into the direction that I am looking with C. Thats not what it’s supposed to do.
  • while running I cant jump
  • when running towards something I can jump on (or through an open window), I cant jump on it if I still have shift (= run) pressed.

It works fine for me. Maybe check your settings?

When I double press W to run, I can jump with space.
When I run with W+left shift, I can not jump with space.
I have just plugged in my old keyboard and the game runs fine like before.
So indeed the problem seems to be my with new keyboard.
The problem seems to be with the left shift (= run) button.
But I cant find anything in the keyboard settings to fix the problem.
Also not in the game settings.
What can I do?? Good advice is much appreciated.

I have your same problem, shift is busted in my keybord for enlisted so i have changed the run to Q

Is 1y i have this problem, no solution outiside changed the sprint to another key

Hmmm I dont believe my shift key is busted, the keyboard is new.
Also shift works fine for typing and running, but the combination of W + shift + space doesnt work.
Shift also works fine on the forum: when I press space it goes to the bottom of the page, when I press shift + space it goes to the top.
So the problem is only in the game when I want to jump (space) or look around (C) while having the shift key pressed.

EDIT:
I have just changed the sprint key from shift to CTRL.
Oddly enough, that works fine.
So for some weird reason my new keyboard wont accept the combination with shift but CTRL will…
Why??

Well it sucks…I cant find a fix.
Using W11 and HID-keyboard, no drivers to install.
Anyway, I will just have to use CTRL for running or double tap W.

I said it, no solution, my shift stop working with enlisted 1y ago and i use Q now for run

I just came back to mention that the keyboard itself was the problem.
Apparently it didnt function well or just was not compatible with W11.
Replaced the keyboard yesterday with a gaming keyboard and all is well now.
