I have 3rd Mortar Battalion (Axis BR2), mainly because of their fallshimieger (?) looks, but I see players or not running about in very similar FS green, but they have Machine gun belts around their necks, I cannot find em to put them in a lineup?
Anyone know what squad this is? I have a lot to check and it would just save time.

Though if im not mistaken some normandy mortar squads have those cosmetic by default that can only be seen while being in a match not in the menu
As far as I know only premium/event paras have this feature (and MG42 early squad, but that one lacks para outfit).
And only after they land on ground (so it’s no visible in hangar)
I found the Mortar squad, but I don’t think it is Mortars with mg ammo around neck, it definitely is not premium paras I have them and they are high BR, I’m talking about BR2 squad maybe 3 with para helmets.
There are several other low BR squads with para outfits.
But I can’t think of any low BR squad with para outfits and MG belts around neck.
Ok I am going to have to search all the squads, they definitely have mg belts and look like 3rd mortar battalion.
Btw. All mortar squads have para outfits in Normandy campaign preset.
And these have para outfit only in Berlin campaign preset (so only for BR3+)
Maybe it’s a bot squad that appears on Normandy, I might have to check it out, the way I was going to was next time I see them on low BR is follow them, wait til they kill something, so can identify them on scoreboard then see player choice ie Engineer
I think Premium engineers might have mg belts, but will have to check later.
The Para Mortar squad will show up with belts around their necks during matches but you can’t see them in the customization menu. I can’t remember if they show up on your squad or if its just on other people that are using the squad in a match (Maybe an AI controlled squad)
Something similar happens with the BR 1 Premium Beretta Para’s, where some maps you will spawn with some type of hat on that has a cloth for neck protection although in the customization menu you don’t have access to hats, just helmets.
There are probably other squads that have these weird little oddities that I haven’t noticed yet.
I just went though all my legacy, premium squads and clicked on Normandy for each just in case, I couldn’t find them, I tried playing again tonight but just got Moscow, will try tomorrow am.
So what you are saying is likely the case that the ammo belt is added in Normandy, not sure if it is 3rd Battalion but must be low BR squad, so I’ll keep an eye next time I see them, they look amazing and well I guess I am a bit OCD about nice drip on squads…
Also remember the feature is broken, you can’t inspect your outfit in practice since some months. No matter what campaign set you choose, they will get the Berlin outfits.

I was hoping someone on PC with custom game editor could search quicky in Json data (axis, up to BR3 and wear 3rd Mortar Battalion para helmet with mg belt.

Ah now that is a good call, I should do yes! Will search it up in morning. So I can find map and follow squad, I had just deployed my APC and they go out to cap C point, good suggestion TY!
Ah so it is my Mortar squad, the mg ammo just gets added, the best uniform in low BR by far imho
Oh the irony so I was looking for my own squad!
They should add those fallschirmjäger outfit in all units customization like they do for all Americans amd British units as they have access to their airborne outfit regardless of what regiment those units are part of. Agree too best fit in the game
Hi, I misunderstood, I now have replaced or added these squads on line up where they have that look for BR2 BR3 BR4, I didn’t understand about the mg belt appearing in game for my own squad… sorry!
