As someone who has been playing since OBT non stop daily, i am really burned out, because for me - the last big amount of content was - Berlin.
Tunisia is really boring for me.
So longer time enlisted players - what would make the game feel more fresh and less repetitive?
For me it would probably be:
New gamemodes (Hardcore or large scale)
New campaign (pacific)
New levels (Come on wheres the STG in berlin?)
AI tweaking would be appreciated too
When the next batch of levels come, if they are actually decent (not like the last ones that sucked ass) i might start playing more than 5-10 games a week again
I am really not even sure what keeps me going at this point. Probably all the money i spent that will feel wasted when i quit
So this might be a bit off key, but for me, I would like a grand campaign, with procedurally generated maps.
In short, I donât feel like writing an essay. I want to pick a spot on a map and fight there in the time period that battles happened at that point (so, say I pick Kursk, I have a tech tree that gives me what existed at Kursk, at that time).
As well, you could make the grand campaign map dynamic, where say, Axis wins enough times, and it pushes our progress East More. And then if Soviets succeed later in counter attacks, it pushes it back again.
Kinda like how some planets and zones are fought for in MWO (to cite a basic example).
That would really liven up the game, and at least make me feel like Iâm accomplishing something other than wining or losing a fight.
Might sound counterintuitive, but more micro managing of troops - some troops can permanently die or take days to recover, weapons degrade after use, vehicles require days to repair. Force you to play other campaigns.
Fresh troops and weapons in daily rewards depending on the campaign you complete task in.
Iâd love if Enlisted switched to fronts and tech trees. Iâve actually been working on a suggestion about this for some time.
Fronts would be similar to how campaigns are currently, as in each one would have two sides to progress through. But each front would be divided into campaigns/battles throughout history, these battles would serve as matchmaking checkpoints, and would also bring new maps. In the matchmaker, the rarity and quantity of a weapon will determine who you face, but the matchmaker would loosen over queue time elapsed.
Tech trees would give you more choice in what to grind first, and allow you to skip a few weapons from each rank that you donât want. All equipment (i.e. throwables and backpacks) and squads would be automatically unlocked as you ranked up. Another idea I had, is, perhaps we could have purchasable attachments (grenade launchers, bayonets, scopes, etc) that could be equipped onto weapons, instead of entirely new weapons.
I like the idea, though I feel like it is too drastic of a change from the current system. However, it could definitely make for epic alternate history events, such as a full-scale invasion of D-day that uses the whole map and lasts a week.
Oh it might very well be, but I had so much fun once I could be the Sword of Davion on MWO, that I canât help but feel like this game could benefit from that. It wouldnât remove the primary mode (much like it doesnât in MWO) but it could give us something else to work towards, and feel like all those squads or tanks we sacrificed in battle meant something.
Iâm thinking Pacific theater will highlight something like this.
Where just as an example, the Japanese players will have 14 Person infantry squads, but all BAâs, and the US has 8 Person, but can use Semiâs etc etc.
Those are just numbers, not actually what I think would be balanced.
Its going to have to be something like that though IMO to make it work properly.
Im worried japanese start bunny hooping with mp40 and g41 and some german volunter with tiger show up for help them, if is for me i give to japanese high-end BA a rate of fire of 90-100 so they dont have to use experimental or lend-lease semi-automatic for example
Reworked progression tree so you actually have some choice on what you want to research because lets face it sometimes you just donât want yet another plane squad your not going to use.
Better AI
Larger player base before they add a new campaign there seems to be a lack of players across the campaigns seems to me there are a lot of bots and the players there are seem to quit at the first sign of a struggle
More weaponry to be added to the early progression on the campaigns its always nice to have more choice for example existing weaponry to be available on other campaigns such as the ZK-383 early moscow progression. And new weaponry to be added such as the M712 Schnellfeuer âBroomhandleâ Mauser for the Germans.
Motorized vehicles such as half tracks and trucks for larger scale game modes
Personnally, instead of adding new levels, i welcome more the new gamemodes, new maps, new system etc. Gaijin style patch(adding new thing to gain attention) is temporary and it makes people exhausted.
New gamemode: CAMPAIGN!
Such as the one found in RO2. It was mainly to justify wich map was played and why, but it added an extra dimension that made âstaying a bit longer to see the issue of the warâ more fun.
Tickets could be influenced by previous victories/defeats, as well as who defend and attack.
