Its the best game mode and the only one many people play, trying to play a decent lone fighters match in custom matches is hell. Gaijin pls

Put on the filters and try again.
Not a single match with enough players, remember that they made it so that players replace bots instead of adding to them.

Full lobbies of Custom LF matches! That is far more than 1 hand unless he’s a mutant. I swear some people with their refusal to accept that others might enjoy something they do not enjoy…

Back a few days before LF was “removed” a guy told me he could count on 1 hand the amount of players who enjoys LF. I want to see his face looking at that picture now.
the player base isnt that big on that mode tho . he was “almost” right…
i guess we all enjoy normal squad mode over this one…
maybe one day lone fighters will grow as more population play the game… right now it doesnt offer nothing special for most of us to play it…
nothing against the ones that enjoy it. go ahead, play it … but seams like the squad mode players dont even want to queue on LF modes…

Sure LF isn’t that big right now, however he was trying to say it in a way to invalidate me saying it’s not a bad mode. His hatred for the mode wasn’t my problem back then either, the way he refused to accept others enjoying the mode was. He can tell me it’s not as popular as Squads, I accept that for it is true. He cannot tell me I am wrong for enjoying the mode and I should accept it being removed because that’s what he wants.
More people played it before than now, you need to have a lot of people looking at the same time to get a room filled up and if the host doesn’t start it people get impatient and leave. The custom games need an overhaul if it’s going to work. Who wants to wait around all day for a match?

i m not sure if the custom lobby needs such rework, or , more people is needed to fill that mode matches…
its a nich market only for a small percentage of enlisted players it seams.
and if you search only for “hardcore” matches, even less players that what apears to be a small percentage of active LF users.
i guess both wont happen soon… or probably never.
more people into it, would be great for you guys, but imo (no hate here) , its a waste of resources to keep it alive.

It’s a great place to meme around without your squad alerting everyone to your location. At least I really enjoyed that part of it. Also the chaos of people not recognizing who’s friendly and who’s enemy.
Here’s the problem with that: it doesn’t really take huge amounts of resources to keep alive, which is why I don’t understand those who were so loud about removing it. Like, it doesn’t even need to be balanced separately really, it’s just a different way to play the same game.

The custom lobby needs rework for people to get into these matches. As I’ve already said, the way the system works in replacing rather than adding to bots means we’ll have to wait for 40 people to join just to get a 20v20 going. If we could just start the match right away without having to wait and get going on a map that’s not empty it would help. Another issue is that even if you get a full match people have to leave the lobby to do upgrades and click on daily tasks so the lobbies usually dissolve after 1 match.
It’s the hardcore mode that makes it good. If you want to play standard arcade, squads is better.

The uniforms will let you recognize that easily. Which is another thing I dislike about the custom lobbies, who the hell thought mixed factions would be a good idea?
I can imagine they were mostly just forum trolls.

If you know the uniforms, sure. If they are so far you can’t see them clearly in the shadows or it’s someone who doesn’t recognize them just yet, there’s some fun to be seen there and then.
I hope so, because if they really thought the things they said… well, let’s just say I don’t think people enjoy being near those who invalidate their feelings.
A 7 minute conquest match, yes that sounds boring. Also, like you said, you were playing standard mode not hardcore. I never really enjoyed LF until they changed it into “hardcore” mode so I have no interest in playing “standard” mode LF matches.
