As players progress in a campaign, they gain the ability to give their soldiers more and more equipment. As more equipment is unlocked, it takes the player more and more time to fully equip all the squads they want to field. Switching out squads and re-equipping a squad is tedious and takes away from the gameplay, so I suggest a preset system to streamline the process of equipping soldiers.
Notice on the bottom how there are now the “Set Preset” and “Apply Preset” buttons
If I wanted to use this riflemen preset on all my other riflemen, all I would need to do is choose a preset and set it.
Now when I have a completely new soldier all I have to do is choose a preset to apply. These presets would be exclusive to each class, so I would only see the 4 riflemen presets.
I can hover over each preset to see what it is. In this case my preset for the other soldier is preset 2. Now all I have to do is apply it and my soldier will be fully equipped!
Note, if you are missing any of the equipment in the preset you would get prompted to simply buy all missing equipment with silver. Recent quality-of-life changes in the soldier manager have made it easy to buy equipment from logistics, I think this is the logical next to step to increase quality of life and save some time.
