Oh, it is more than absolutely necessary to do this. And I am destroying quite a lot of things with the game to be fair, quite a lot. I would do even more if I had RM-50, but I don’t, so that’s a shame.
This is already the meta. You cannot stop progress. Fighting with “honor” will only make you a frag in the statistics tbh.

Has anyone been able to get the free look “c” button to work when looking outside the tank to rotate the MG on it? For some reason it doesn’t work for me nor is there any key bind for it in the controls.
Thanks for showing where it is ISANMAA. It seems like binding any key to it doesn’t make it work and only works when resetting it to default.
Also noticed that free look when using the rotating mg on top of the tank doesn’t give you full 360 view but instead only a 180 degree angle compared to an empty tank with only a commander in it which allows him for full rotation.
Easily, with flamethrowers + more grenades.

People don’t get how accurate the rifle-nades are. Well, some of them do now. -chuckle-
SMG loses to riflegrenades, PPD/PPSh still good, but riflegrenades remove them.
Edit: tanks are a problem as GrB-39 doesn’t work anymore - but they’re a problem for all other squads too, and as Teefiddy and TeeTheeFee are better tanks in general - we rely solely on plane kamikaze.
Wonder if its a bug. Because they had actually increased Post Pen Damage on all AT weapons a few patches ago.
I guess I’ll have to take it to the practice range to see how it does.
If that happens then I would assume bugged. I’ll try it out and see.
I know other weapons appear to be working (I got 4 x T70’s with the AT Rifle Grenade on Stalingrad , all in one hit), though some vehicles seem to have black holes for damage (Stuart, taking 5 OBF43 rounds to destroy).
In had issues BT-7 front-face and middle most weakpoint over the tracks, T-50 only takes crew damage if direct hit and I haven’t even bothered trying against T-34.
T-60 seems to lose only one crew-member from a direct hit, but that tank seems to be inpenetrable 50% of the time.
Since the very Beginning, the T60 (kinda like the Stuart, actually) has always had a Black Hole for damage. Its internal configuration is weird and takes multiple hits to actually disable and kill.
I’ll give it some testing on the weekend to see what I can find. I usually have had great success with the GbR. Once I got its flight mechanics down pat, I was managing to one Shot M3’s in their 75mm Ammo Racks on Tunisia at range. Would hate to lose that reach out and touch someone ability.
I was in Tunisia, wanted to relax in a Sherman. Normally Shermy shreds everything it faces. But yesterday, I played ping pong with the Italian second vehicle.
Multiple times.
It was weird, my shots DID pen, the shrapnel was numerous and hit the crewmen often.
But… they survived many hits??? It’s like post pen damage got drastically reduced on the crew.
Also noticed the grb39 struggles a lot against t70 for probably the same reason…
M14 have always this buffed armor from the release, initially was useful only aganaist the piat but slowly it become able to take and hold a shoot of crusader
And I’ve used GrB for ages with succé. It’s post patch when it started to struggle with paper tanks. I get the pen’s, but now I need to snipe crew-member at a time.
It’s probably a bug… It affects all tanks, too. Unless you hit ammo racks directly, it’s strangely difficult to take out tanks by killing crewmen, as they now resist shrapnel…
Hopefully they will fix this. I don’t mind powerful tanks IF infantry got reliable means of taking them out (as well as other tankers)
