again with this stupid statement I told you go look the manual you have a task
and dont go to M1941 maunal since its not gas operated weaponâŚ
The only reason to change the gas port would be to let more gas through after a prolonged amount of firing, which would leave residue preventing gases from getting through, so opening the value further will make up for it, keeping the rpm consistent.
Go find me the statement in the manual that shows the soldiers how to do same like type 99 manualâŚgo onâŚ
Tech tree Vickers K gun without the damned spiderweb-sights!
Unless they change how aperture sights work I wouldnât wish that on my worst enemies.
Ok, this is not quite what you asked for but it does show that the type 99 and type 96 were intended to have the same rpm (550rpm), the changing of the gas ports is my own theory but it does fit the facts:
Where it shows the rate of fire on different gas ports ? Open the Johnson manual and find me the Gasport and how soldiers where supposed to change it by doctrine like the manual of type 99 that I posted.
Off course it doesnât show that because soilders werenât ment to open that gas ports to achieve a higher rpm, the gun was ment to be fired at 550 rpm as designed.
So are you telling me the operators of type 99 where trained how to change the ports and the operators of M1944 E-1 where not:
Yes, because believe it or not there 2 different weapons operated by very different militaries off course training and doctorine isnât going to be 1:1.
I thought you have said type 99 operators where not trained to do so ⌠so who cant change its gas port the Johnny operator or the type 99?
They werenât trained to change the setting to achieve a higher rpm, only to make up for the lack of gases being redirected after prolonged fire, please learn the difference.
Well back in the days they thought us in school how to disassemble and assemble weapons and learn how to operate them and change different parts now they obviously teach you only how to change your genderâŚ
Genuinely curious when and where did you go to school, that sounds awesome.
well in a country that no longer exists and now i live in alliance that is about to stop to exists absolutely amazing times âŚ
Was it Yugoslavia by chance?
Well something like that but bigger
Was it the USSR?
