Yes and the soviet drum smg’s are a god send i love all the smg’s actually other than a few like the grease gun i can get along with the iron sights on that damn thing feels so restrictive.

I just play Normandy, but LMG useless? Today I even didn’t notice it was buffed. If you deploy LMG and you well position, you simply don’t stop killing hordes. Today best soldier in 2 games in a row with more than 50 kills themselves with LMG. And btw I am SMG lover, you just simply cant play SMG (rusher) as LMG (ambusher).
They are not useless if used correctly. That wasnt my point.
Now the recoil when lying down without a bipod and sitting down is the same (I can send you a comparison), this is obviously nonsense. I don’t understand why they increased the recoil when the bipods work every other time. It just doesn’t make sense.
The spread in motion also became prohibitive. At 7 meters, bullets often miss the target even with little movement. Let the spread be, but increase gradually, so that there were no absurd situations where I moved slightly, and the bullets flew at an angle of 60 degrees from the barrel.

The bullet dispersion change is dogshit. I wanted to see more recoil on LMGs, not an unrealistic water hose. I always thought the LMGs needed a nerf but the change we got is just terrible. I have zero interest in using any low level LMGs now, the Breda Mod .30 is a joke ever since the update. It’s a long road until I get the MG-34 in Normandy.
A lot of players just pick and choose which realistic features they want in-game anyways, so I’m going with the idea that more recoil when firing (unmounted) should’ve been added.

the brenda is useless, sure it has a quick reload but even mounted the recoil is way too high
Would be good if you Guys, who disagree with me (BTW you don’t have to agree with me, all of us can have different opinions), read my comment carefully. I was talking about the low level LMG’s like the Breda! I don’t want running players with MG’s gunning down everybody. For example with Breda even if I prone, stay stationary and fully aimed I miss most of the time (you cannot lay down all the time and use bipods). I don’t know, lower the dmg of the gun or adjust it somehow but give us the LMG feeling.

Except they werent. The enemy at receiving end of bullets dont know are you using bipod or not but will keep hes head down due to suppression.
Which we dont have in the game.

Lol, I wrote yesterday that I even didnt notice about LMG nerf, but today i tested it. I was pushing all game as rambo, with LMG, simply crouching when i saw enemy, shooting 2 bullets at time wtih MG42, and laying down when there was more than 2 enemies. I deployed the LMG just a coupple of times, then i ripped enemy squads. I did 67 LMG kills, and half of them were standing up. Just one LMG has the perk of 30% recoil reduce when standing. I couldnt notice which one had it because i never shoot more than 1-3 bullets if not laying down.

Dude, add me as friend if you want and lets play together with LMG. You cant spray LMG without bypod. You MUST use burst. If you are staning up 1-2 bullets, crouching 1-3 bullets, laying 3-6 bullets and with bypod 5-10 bullets. If you try to use more than that the recoil, OBVIOUSLY became uncontrollable.
This is for MG42, the most difficult to handle I would say, as worse is weapon, less recoil and more burst you can do. But i burst even with stationary MG. Beside recoil, you simply cant aim when spraying.
And yeah i am old dude who enjoy himself finding how to make black the letters 
I play well. the nerve was to reduce the active gameplay with machine guns. Question: why increase the recoil lying down? It leads to the opposite process. I don’t lie down if there is no difference in recoil sitting and lying down.
The dispersion is stupidly annoying. Random decides where I hit if I even touch the movement button with my little finger.
Why¿ Because if you use it properly it is broken, without the recoil would be unplayable game, just LMG everywhere. low level Breda is usless, but even upgraded Breda it is fantastic weapon properly used

In absolutely any game, when you lie down, the recoil is less, even if you’re not on bipods.
What is the point of increasing the recoil while lying down? Is it wrong to use a machine gun lying down, but WITHOUT the bipod?

My reply= “If you are staning up 1-2 bullets, crouching 1-3 bullets, laying 3-6 bullets and with bypod 5-10 bullets”… because the recoil it is NOT SAME standing, crouching or laying. I was testing it today, laying without bypod you can burst a lot of bullets without recoil. Not so much as with bypod, not so few as standing. Exactly as should be If you have low level Breda, just waits you will change mind, if now, try more times and you will get use to burst
There is literally no difference. It has to be less lying down, otherwise I only play more aggressively, because I don’t see the point in lying down. and the logic of the change clearly suffers.

LMGs/ GPMGs exists so supress in the first place. I really dont know why people cant understand it.
BAR is a different issue since it is a battle rifle issued as a machine gun by the Americans but you cant auto-spam/ hip-fire with the BAR either.
Less a modification than that they prefer using (drum) magazines for “hip-firing” to prevent malfunctions/ jams. My mistake.
The German Command suggested doing this in very close distances only… for obvious reasons (same for the other Nations).
Hip-firing (smiliar to Sturmwehr of the MG42 and however the Allies call it in their doctrine) was mostly used while relocating, requires experience and phyisical strength fron the gunner and not to move/ exposing yourself to the enemy.
So I dont get it why people complain about if the current system rewards people for using MGs while standing/ not moving. Even hip-firing still works as intended.

Not like in RO or BFV, yes. But people (and to some extend even bots) recognize if they are under fire which is easilier to achieve than with other gun types ingame.

Lol. I am not complaining enemy LMG is OP, i am saying right now is perfect, and if they boost it, it would be boring for the ones who already has seniorit on it.
And yes, in real life LMG job is supress fire and pin enemys. but this is a game and if you do that you get headshoot. You simply cant look with LMG to enemy front, always out of their view and surprise them from flank.
