Listen up you merge lovers and listen good

Let me explain why merger was not a good ideal. Ill try to use simple words so you merge lovers understand.

  1. You took map options away. In order to play some maps I would have to downgrade myself in order to hope I can play campain maps I like.
  2. Gold tank no longer will be used. In maps like pacific and dessert they had gold tanks good for those campains. If I choose or a player still chooses no garentee I wont be put againts a Tiger 2 like i seen many times now. They devs made tanks and units pacific for maps but now is unusable.
  3. Devs took money out thier own mouth. Who will buy a tier 2 or 3 gold tank now? Why? They will by upper tiers now. They took money oit their own mouths.
  4. It was nice just picking campain to play. Now, no longer an option just hope at best.
  5. I am not new to enlisted, not by far. Just this forum. Thats because enlisted was fun to play but now its not. Thats why I logged on. For those of you that struggle with thinking seem to think that this is important.
  6. For those of you that where in forum begging for merger, you didnt think things threw.
  7. Historical units now play where they where never. Might has well ad ray guns and light sabers.
  8. Those few who liek the ideal of track trans didnt think. Maps aint big enough. Now your whole squad will die quick to a tank. Some maps those tracks are useless.
  9. lets be honest, matching cant be fix and players are leaving. My entire friends list is dead. I was last to uninstall.
  10. people are just taking germans now. On weekends I am onlu US player, playing againts 8 german human players. Still give them a run for thier money
So please dont mess up any more. Those of you that wanted this merger need to stay quiet for a while. You hurt this game and maybe devs jobs.
Time for the lot of you to grow up

If you’re new to the forums best of luck. lol There’s a lot of problems and nobody is here to compromise. The response you see above, that’s the attitude everyone seems to have.

I kind of like laser guns and light sabers

And I don’t mind installing an ACOG onto my Fedorov and driving my T3485 with comic character paintings in Pacific haha

This guy is really bad at trolling. If he played the entire weekend as US and was fighting solo against 8 Germans how come I never saw him when I played the entire weekend and had all of 2-3 games where anyone left.

Fair enough - you don’t like it - but expecting the game to bend to a noisy minority is deluded.

The game is better now and can continue to improve.

Funny enough, I actually did see him. There was also another guy named something about always losing. Might I ask if you have recognized me? I didn’t play all weekend but I was in matches on friday. lol

No idea if I saw you or not. I think Friday night I played a bunch of pacific games because it seems the weebs are the only ones with day jobs or school somehow. I’m usually in BR1-2 bracket.

Reality is there’s a couple people who didn’t like the merge in the minority trolling the forums with fake accounts. Hamster is clearly one of those accounts so I treat him like the sweaty bot he is.

Yea I was somewhat against merge cause I like the campaign system but eh I don’t have any solution I can think of personally

It is not sustainable to pick exactly which campaign you want, the player base will be split further when new campaign is added.

Lol tech tree tank will also meet tiger II so using your logic people won’t use tech tree tank. Besides that, many people buy gold tank because they want to use unique tank.

Historical unit are nothing but skin, since they can equip weapon that the unit don’t use.

Unrelated to merge.

I think campaigns would have worked in a non F2P game where the incentives are around polishing good content before making questionable content. Gajin’s F2P model just wasn’t equipped for that because they need to be constantly adding new things so people spend money on the game.

A good example of this in theory is HLL where, if you consider each map is about the size of the full maps enlisted plays on, they essentially have this map system. The issue there is that HLL is willing to give every new player on an American team Garands that 1 shot, any player almost every gun from the start, where any unlock is just a new loadout with maybe a couple abilities, like for the engineers.

Enlisted just doesn’t have that ability to sit down and polish the game as much. HLL releases 1 map and gets a wave of new players. Enlisted needs to fight to get old players to buy stuff and new players, who might buy stuff, to join.

i’ll start by saying that, i used to love the merge, but i have become indifferent about it.

it has it’s good and down sides. but as far as it goes, even though i try to stay the most objective possible, the merge was good and needed.

mostly because we had the following issues with campaing systems:

  • lacks of players in one faction campaign resulting in teams of humans vs half of humans and majority of bots

  • grinding the same stuff across multiple campaigns ( which was taking it’s toll and consequentially: )

  • inability to add new content in a reasonable way ( resulting in for example, level 40+ just for a halftrack or new mid gun )

  • reducing quques times

  • preventing new players with level 5 of equipement competing against other players having 30 level+ worth of equipment. creating unbalances and dissatisfaction for newer players.

with that being said, your points feels more like a rant than a logical thought out constructive criticsm.

those are subjective gripes.

and not really inherent to the greater good of the game of in it self.

you can still use them

being uptiered isn’t that bad ( outside the unstable 3 br )

except, the benefits of the merge outclass both the cons of campaign system, and pros.

that happened before, complains were made, nothing happened.

it would make sense in enlisted.

but i presume this one would be an attempt to beat the dead horse of historical accuracy in enlisted.

spoiler allert, it never existed

i was, and have been the first advocate for halftracks.

they might not be ideal for 60% of the playerbase that can put one with one together,
but you don’t need bigger maps to use an halftrack.

as… i would like you to remind that we had bikes and rocket artilleries for realtively small maps.

it goes saying, everything has it’s uses and is a valid option for those who likes them and knows how to use them.

which the new halftrack for how much… uninspiring and repetitvie as many other titles are, it does it’s job and allows to have two active rallies at a time.

which is, and was super helpful.

that is more than anything, a paradox.

which was caused i believe because the campaigns were separated. and now, people can grind what they want without relatives restrictions.

( that one restriction being, you need to unlock many things before you will be able to use the one you want. which can be tiring and somewhat detrimental )

all to say, we are sorry you don’t like the new enlisted, but both for it’s growth, and playerbase, was necessary.

even though, wasn’t and still isn’t perfect.
but just like anything will be and can be adjusted accordingly with time

( even if i’m of the opinion that rushing this update was a bad idea too )

with that being said, we’re kinda late to turn around.
