Based on the infinite manpower mechanism of the defender in this game, there have been a large number of gameplay methods that use unlimited manpower to use aircraft to launch suicide attacks.
Vehicles are high-value targets and should not be as simple as rotating infantry squads. Some players may have three vehicle queues allowing them to deploy vehicles without limit.
In other games, you can get yourself some breathing space by destroying a vehicle, but in this game, when you destroy a vehicle, the opponent will immediately deploy another one. So what is the significance of anti-vehicles? What if they could be deployed infinitely?
This is pretty bad. The number of vehicles each player can deploy per game should be limited rather than directly linked to manpower. If they lose the number of vehicle deployments, they will not be able to use the vehicle in that game.
I prefer this
What you are asking for in the title is actually the case in the table
[0, 0, 0, 0, 999999]
The respawn cost is a good idea, it at least limits the overuse of vehicles by gameplay
In terms of program functions, the main thing is that it has compatibility and scalability
The current status is [0]
, which is used in Dota unlimited fire mode
What you requested is [0,0,0,999999]
And It can be other flexible values.
I understand the intention here, and on one hand I agree.
This part is definitely an issue. However, what would your opinion be of working on the solution from the reverse side? Meaning from the death side rather than getting them in the first place.
Currently, the system exists where you can land your plane, and get out, to get the āsuccessful landingā bonus. (You get the plane back one squad faster.)
So how about if you suicide attack (plow into the ground without having taken damage from an enemy) you get the reverse effect, and it takes 3 squads rather than the standard 2 to get it back.
Additionally, you could add in repeat penalties so the more often they do it, it increases the penalty more and more to the point they basically wouldnāt be getting the plane anymore.
I wouldnāt mind myself, as I already use ONLY one vehicle per match usually (if I explode, my mindset change and I storm caps, at which point Iām not relaxed enough anymore to use vehicles.)
But what I do probably shouldnāt be the norm: I could say Iām a veteran, and always have 10 slots to choose from.
Iām trying to put myself in the shoes of a newcomer, who has 4 slots total, one of them being a tiny tank. Maybe that new player really enjoys using his t60 (I sure did, and still do!!!) So Iām just not certain it would be fair for them⦠Even if they are terribly bad with vehicles and are mainly glorified targets. Because if they have fun⦠itās fine (and they learn).
I agree that suicide bombing is annoying (unless Japanese, I always give them a pass) however. The solution could be completely different: defenders (the one suicide bombing without penalty) should have tickets, just like attackers.
For the rest, I donāt know⦠I donāt mind that much personally like Iāve said
They need to be limited 100%. How it currently is, itās oppressive and encourages cheap gameplay in a game that wants to be somewhat realistic lol. Also, those grey-zoned tanks are cheesy af. Canāt get to a tank thatās wrecking your team bc of some arbitrary line in the dirt.
Not to mention that it is a little goofy how a plane can just saturate an area with bombs and rockets with no regard for friendliesā¦
Old times, 4 squads in beloe lake conquest, t60 green and mosin 1907
I donāt agree with the idea of limiting the number of vehicles, but I think there should be a penalty for kamikaze attacks within a minute of going out.
Maybe double the vehicle cooldown.
T60 will remain my all time favourite, with Normandy Rhino.
Do you remember early Enlisted days? Everyone had the pz2 and t60 and spammed them⦠without knowing how to really use them.
Resulted in thrilling duels where both (or even all 4 tanks!!!) Were engaged in point blank duels, even ramming each others trying to pierce their opponents! While simple riflemen tried to run in between.
I loved those times. Seeing a pz4 or a t28 while on foot felt like seeing a Maus or a IS4. It was fearsome. Great timesā¦
Sometimes is hard to explain to new players how tanks are born, a friend of mine took this image and I will use it everytime now.
When daddy T-60 and mommy Pz 2 love each other very muchā¦
I think once in Viskoyo village I could see 3 tanks deployed at the same time
Also at that time you had unlimited engineer structures, or at least unlimited resources, well, i donāt remember
In my impression, at that version, in the last area, the defender could deploy 3 tanks
That makes me remember, why we donāt have the Goliath in game?
Did anyone suggested that already?
Some did.
Realistically speaking, for that thing to be, DF would need to create an entirely new game mechanic for that specific squad only, and would probably end up as event or premium.
But ppl (mains) would complain because thereās no real known counterparts except bomb dogs⦠but seeing how much censored and easily offended the world population has become, those will never become a thing.
Thereās no counterpart to the event rocket launcher and no one gives a damn about it, also, I am a fucking allied main and see no issue with it.
The mains that come frequently to whine on the forum about stuff are usually the axis mains.
I would say to just give something else unique to another campaign/BR bracket and is more than good.
If only.
As someone who enjoys all faction pretty much equally, I can say with certainty that commieboos are just as bad as wherabooboos, who are just as bad as burgerboos.
None is better or worse, theyāre all equally annoying. When it isnāt āuuuh t34-85 is too strong, I struggleā from wherabooboos, Itās āuuuh, mp40 has 0,1 more damage, and avs has too much recoil, unplayable!ā Meanwhile the burgerboo will whine about tigers, while flying his p47. Just in another thread today, a burgerboo whine against, and Iām not making it up, the āJapanese tigerā and how USA Pacific vehicles suffer agains paper Japan [ā¦]
Yeah. All exclusive mains are annoying to me. The only real main who is a gentleman is Scav_Sergei, whoās simply a Soviet faction enjoyer and history lover. Never saw him complain even once against his opponents. If only all mains were like himā¦
The issue here though is the way Invasion/ Assault/ Destruction work is that both teams have a limited resource, of which is the win condition.
For attackers this is tickets.
For defenders it is objectives. (Especially because on Invasion and Destruction you canāt retake them, and assault can only be retaken if its a phase with 2 objectives.)
So by changing that and making defenders have tickets too, you essentially just make Confrontation mode!
The defensive mechanics need to be reworked so that teams actually play DEFENSE, not KAMIKAZE OFFENSE.
Those were the days. Moscow at its finest
Yup. Just mains in general. Usually how complaining works, always about the part of the game they ādontā play.
