Limit radio squads on battlefield

So me, and my friends tried a thing - we all took radio squads (with 30s cooldown skill ofcourse), battle results? Absolut massacre for opposite team. We kept spaming cap points and they just couldn’t do anything about it. This needs some sort of balance in the nearest update please.

Or any other ideas?
Or do you think it should be kept like it’s now?

def, needs an adjustment.

You can spam it almost the second you spawn in, then every 30 seconds after that. It’s almost constant as it takes time for the barrage to go off.

I agree that it can be excessive at times, the most I’ve seen at the beginning of a game was 9 artillery strikes. With that, it’s a rather fine line between balance and completely useless.

In CBT, the artillery squads were very seldom used as they had a 3 minute call-in timer, so you basically called it in once and died to get a better squad, or just played passively to wait the timer out again.

Maybe they could try a 45 second timer, or a 60 second timer as the max, which would be useful, but still not as overwhelming now.

I think 1 minute cooldown should do the thing.

planes are more of a cancer than the artillery building provide cover. nothing protects you from a bomb or a rocket if planes can harrass with no counter. the arty isnt a problem mortar are also more of a problem it doesnt give u a warning at all just bomb dropping and squad dying. so i would keep it the same

not really on the american side half the map is greyed off so u cant drop it on spawn or with in 10 secs of starting the match. also planes and mortars are way more of a problem than the arty cause the mortars and planes have no range can hit u at spawn with no warning and no counter u can counter the arty with a tank plane and other means but the planes and mortar there is really no counter

No? U can’t counter artillery strike with anything :smiley: U can’t just shoot the shells coming from skies, right?

They should increase cooldown and also limit how many times one radioman can use artillery strike. Just like engineers with building resource

planes and mortars are way more cancer and using a arty squad to counter them its not hard or flank them get out of the red area it gives u warning ur not listening to the game get out of red circle. i dont understand ur guys complaints it does literally no damage if ur in cover and if u dont have cover nothing else in game give u a warning!dont just stand or run in to like i see all the time. planes,mortar no warning at all just explosion and half the team dead in 1 sec way way more caner than arty and the planes are abused every round not once and while like arty

How about a randomised timer delay? Anything from 30 seconds to to maybe 2 minutes. Would stagger strikes around.
