I have doubt it would ever get implemented, but who knows: He who does not asks, receives nothing.
I’ve been enjoying some custom matches lately, as “hardcore” mode. (Not lone fighter, still with squads, but without hud) and enjoy it quite a bit.
Especially the fact that it does not show remaining ammunition… unless you reload.
What I’d like to suggest, is a way to check the remaining bullets in your magazine, without reloading it.
Just like in RO2. You HELD the reload button, and your soldier quickly removed the magazine, or opened the rifle bolt, just to check APPROXIMATELY how many rounds were left then quickly replaced it or the bolt in place.
“The magazine feels heavy” or light, or half full.
Because a soldier can’t possibly count how many bullets he just fired with his ppsh41 salvoe.
This feature would mostly only be of use for hardcore mode of custom matches (which is why I doubt devs would implement but meh). Would give a more immersive side to this mode.
