if i had to start this game from start i would go crazy if i had to unlock 8 (6) BA rifles that really dont have much difference between each other before i get to SA rifles. after all they all kill/down with 1 shot.
get max 2 or 3 rifles if you need to chain them, or have something like minimum 5 researched items in t1 before progressing to t2.
Yeah. This is crucial for me to buy stuff before update. I don’t want to end up with a bunch of mismatched stuff to my Premium/Event squads.
I agree. Should be only three tiers for pistols.
ooooooh. This is interesting. And could explain why Premiums aren’t on here. I asssume the Battle ratings of things will evolve rapidly at first? I can’t stress this enough, me personally would take fewer BR’s and all human matches over more BR’s and AI squads.
Look we are all just trying to use our orders and such wisely before the meta shifts. To set ourselves up for the future. At any rate, this is a positive step forward as the progression of research is much more refined in this list. We are just hungry for more. Thanks for the transparency.
One other IMPORTANT question: What is going to happen with Britain and Italy.
number of BR wouldnt even matter cause they announced flexible MM. if there are not enough players in your BR rating they expand the search to other BR ratings.
I understand that, but it still establishes a sort of baseline. If the BR’s are too many and people never get matched in accordance with them then people will, rightly, think BR’s are meaningless.
On a separate note @1942786 as a Italy enjoyer, what is the plan for Italy and Britain in this new TT?
Most of them are in tier I which should only take couple of games to complete.
7 BA in Germany is the most, others have 4-6.
If it’s like warthinder tier 1-2 should take few days of playing, getting to M1should be comparable to Normany, but way faster than unlocking it in Tunisia
I don’t understand why m18 gmc will be put at the top tier of usa tech tree in the table. I don’t think the capability of this tank is worth that much xp.
If tiers =/= BR, then it’s basically impossible to give more feedback without knowing the actual BR. Show us the BRs please.
Still think that USSR in particular is very heavily weighted towards the higher tiers when looking at the overall equipment available to them. Would still think that moving Kiraly and PPD-40 down to tier 4 makes more sense.
What about Soviet Thompson, Breda. German PPSH?
Why is TT level 5? The performance is less than P38 and colt which are 3 and 4 levels, respectively. Please move TT to level 4. Makes more sense progression-wise as USSR anyway has crap pistols.
Ok, this clarifies a lot, and the compressing of the tiers is definitely something still good on this case. However, there are a few quirks that I am still unsure about.
The SPAA being a starter tanks probably isn’t a good idea, as if you tier it properly then new players for US and Japan will be thrown up into a BR they were not ready for, meanwhile if you don’t tier it properly, and treat it like any other starter tank, the SPAA will completely destroy everything it comes across, especially the M13.
The American planes seem to be haphazardly placed with no rhyme or reason. It makes little sense to research the P-51D-5 before the P-38E, a plane that entered services in early 1942 right as America was starting to mobilize forces. Hell, even the P-38G-1 is at a lower tier than the P-38E for some reason. Those two planes are foldered in WT, so why are they separated like this here.
Why is Jagdpanzer IV on the sheet if it is an event vehicle? Are you going to release a campaign version to go along with the event vehicle you gave out a couple of years ago? And if so, will something similar happen to all event vehicles, or only some of them. Could you specify which ones if it is the latter?
Are you saying that you will be able to unlock things of LOWER BR, later in the progression?
If so, that seems like a very strange, and counterintuitive system.
Also, it still seems very strange to me that despite bringing AT weapons to a reasonable level that you guys still keep explosive packs as such an early piece of equipment. Despite them being (from my experience and many others) the most used and most versatile grenade in the game, being able to take out tanks often as efficiently or more than AT weapons, while still being able to kill infantry like a frag grenade. (Essentially making frag grenades worthless.)
Personally I think if you guys keep them like they currently are, they should be further down the line, like where White Phosphorus is.
Unless you decide to change them to be less of an “all-purpose grenade” and more for crippling tanks rather than outright killing them.
Yep, I was very confused about it too. But I think it still reflects BR in some capacity.
I don’t think there would be lot of low BR stuff late in progression.
We have 5 progression tiers, but we could still have 10+ BRs.
