This is why I suggested some weapon tuning. They all 3 could be brought to an even playing field.

that is true, and I guess even inevitable. there seem to be alot of weapons that sit somewhere between BRs, nerfs and buffs will most likely come soon or later.
I never thought I would ever see in a WW2 game people complaining about facing the M1 Garand

Also M1A1 and BSA Thompson should be T3, M1918A2 should be T4, and it would be nice if the PPSh/MP717 could be no higher than T4.

it’s not just a single gun it’s a mass of superior weapons that US have compared to the Axis at that tier.
And what about Enfield and SMLE?
GL should be Tier III because they are spammable as hell. GL M1903 was best boost for my Pacific Allies grind.
well I only listed German weapons, I have tried SMLEs and they are very good, especially the scoped version is amazing. But again, I don’t think they deserve BR3, even the best BA in a direct fight will perform the same as the worst BA, in the end all you need is one hit.

I was only curios because the VG2 was tier 2 and I think you stated it because it has a magazine so I wasnt sure how you would think about clips.

well both have 10 rounds in them, the VG however reloads much faster then the enfields, which still also have 10 rounds.
VG cycles slower, in my book its a trade off… I would put them both into BR2

Based on this one, I would have PPD-34/38, PPD-40 and PPSh box on BR 3 while PPSh drum on BR 4 as PPSh should not share BR as assault rifles and battle rifles.
Same should also apply to PPSh drum and the premium one.
I do agree Mkb 42(H) is in an awkward position especially with the lack of a .5 area on BR.

So long as the vehicles BR is set so they don’t completely dominate what they face, I’m fine. You know, so a vehicles weapon can at least damage what they are shooting at and vice versa. Ultimately, most of the small arms perform the same for the average joe, just certain ones are meta like the Fedorov, STG and M2.

I got no problem with US getting access to a better semi Auto first. Aysmmetry and what not. Its pretty iconic. That and I love the g41 regardless of what the guy Im shooting at has.
Give and take is fair, compare m1 carbine to VG-15 for example.
Where is the johson semi auto? On paper it looks preferable to the garand and great sights…but for me the the first round in a salvo is always a blank…completely disappears. makes it pure unreliable trash (IMO ofcourse).
SMLE is very good and one of my favourites, But it is notciably on the slow side. to the point where I would take certain 5-6 round rifles over it (if I was being pedantic). So no need for it being BR III
My opinion is no Rifle belongs in BR 3 “unless” it has an anti infantry grenade launcher (at grenade launcher can probably go lower…cant say ive really tried it)

Even if we get a tank that can compete with tiger 2, there’s countless weapon imbalances. Like assault rifles, scoped assault rifles/full autos for sniper squads. U.s. tier 5 is really tier 4. The biggest reason why this sucks though is end game will be a never ending toxic sweat fest for any faction. The end game is supposed to be a reward for sticking around, supposed to be fun. Now you’re going to be punished for using the gear you grinded countless hours to use. It’s going to be one hell of a miserable experience. Every game I’ve seen add matchmaking like this suffers until they remove it. I’ve been through this with several triple A games.
Scoped full auto guns are in no way that meaningful, they turn snipers into assaulters- and don’t function as sniper rifles at all.
Better US Tanks will come for sure, Jackson, Pershing and 76 Jumbo.
Other than that I agree with you, tho many here might not.
Personally I also see most top tier US weapons as BR4 guns. M2 Carbines are nice, but its iron sights alone turn them into max BR4 guns same goes for the Drummag Thompsons, Johnson and BAR are nice, but BR5?
I know people will curse me for this, but Johnson deserves to be a general infantry rifle, just like the FGs - its lightweight enough to not necessarily count as a MG

That’s what my point was, they get a sniper squad that functions as an assaulter squad. Which i would argue is far more valuable/effective in matches.

I would also argue that the only real MG u.s. has currently is the browning A6 (belt fed), and the stinger from way old event. The BARs were all classified as battle rifles and not machine guns, so I don’t see why they should be restricted to gunner squads myself. not entirely sure about the Johnson, but they all have 20 rnd mags. I would assume the Johnson would fall under that category as well.
From a gameplay perspective it would also make sense that the BARs could be just like the FGs trooper weapons, however
BARs were indeed used as a support fire role, thus it was used like a light machine gun. Also I want to point one very crucial thing out, the BAR weights bloody 8Kg, compared to the FGs 4 Kg this is very heavy.
