Lets get rid of "squad upgrade change order"

From the previous GO discard decision we can roughly speculate that DF is undergoing some kind of economic system simplification.

One of the limited special order in game are these “upgrade change order” the amount is always awkward.
For newbie they may don’t have enough amount to correct their error.
For veterans we got nothing to do with it.

So I suggest we just removed them from game once for all.
Holders will receive silver compensation and have them removed from the inventory.
1 order → 3000 silver
After this upgrade change will no longer require anything but remove one level of xp from the squad.

But what if I want to try a different squad composition after a while?

  • So what will I use when I want to change squad upgrades?
  • What will replace them in events?
  • What will replace them in the battle pass?

I hope you don’t expect to replace all of these with silver.

No need to remove it, just allow players to sell it if needed.

Um no. Just becasue you have excess doesnt mean its not a useful game mechanic. Ive been playing for 4 years now and I use the crap out of these things as my style of game play changes over time. I wish they offered them more often.

I have mentioned it in my suggestion.

The reason for removing it is because changing your build with another thing you have should cost
N O T H I N G

Limit the chance of changing your build by BP/event isn’t a friendly game mechanic.
Player should always allowed to change their SMG to MG or get an extra engineer anytime, we own those thing.
If you think current mechanic is reasonable, how about change your tank in slot to plane cost 1000 silver? They are same concept.

Its better to give them more uses. Like as well in changing how your squad is set up, also give an option to give the squad +10000 xp or something like that.
