Let us skip / rollback time when watching replay

i used replays feature for the first time and it is awesome!

however, there is that one annoying thing, i need to wait till the replay comes to the point, i want to record, and should i want to record it from more angles or i missed it, well, cant i just go a little back like as if i watched a movie and missed a joke?

Two things must be improved:

  1. A rewind button.
  2. Stay on the player point of view (when the squad die it switch to another dude, when the player switch to another squad member the point of view doesn’t switch).

Because one time I was looking at a dude. Very good player with a lot of kill. I wanted to check if he cheated.
At one moment I told myself “he definitly use an aim bot here”. The thing is… it was because I was looking a bot. Indeed the player has switch squad member.

At the end he wasn’t a cheater, he just killed 10 rally with AP mines making +70 kills like that… and that’s legal… toxicly legal. Fuck AP mines

I dont believe there will be an option to rewind or go fast forward.
Because I have read that the replay is not a recording of the battle, but a re-creation.
Apparently that cant be rewound or sped up.

I keep thing keofox dont even try and write the thing he talk and is only paied for put his pfp on the news

it is not impossible, it is just laziness/lack of programmers. replay just needs to recreate state at specific time you select. simple data manipulation, just needs hours of work… and considering state of the game, it seems like they dont have programmers to do it.

btw necroed this topic cause had to use replay function for bug report and was mad cause i needed to replay the match 3 times…
