Callsigns are a nice addition, but sometimes our soldiers roll really bad names. And this is particularly annoying with premium/ event squads, whose soldiers we can’t possibly replace.
Also, talking about Italian names in example, there are several oddities that are probably to blame on translation from cyrillic to western characters (I assume it’s the same with some German or English names, but can’t tell for sure). Minor inaccuracies that are enough to make the name sound “wrong” and fake.
It would be so easy to fix that, if we were allowed to change our soldiers’ names.
Moreover, if I’m not mistaken players can ever only see the names of their own soldiers. So the option to rename couldn’t even be possibly abused to show inappropriate language to others.
Game named my man Adolf Hummel, I was scared someone was gonna report me for it, Luckily people can’t really see their names.
Seriously though, I do like the guy cause funny name but some low IQ guy might find it hard to comprehend that there were more than 1 Adolf in history.
