Ever since the merge happened, people have been begging for legacy squads to return, in large part due to things like Italian/British squads lacking in TTs, not enough vehicle squads for one squad per preset, among other things. If this is done, people who enjoy playing Italy or Britain can better have their squads match their nationality, people can have enough vehicle squads to fill their presets and not have to change out the vehicle the squad is using based on the BR. I think the price of 10,000 silver is a reasonable amount, considering it is the same price to sell legacy squads as well.

might as well include said squads in the silver boxes…
since it appears silver box just covers pretty much about everything.
which i suspect it’s what they will settle for.
despite our loves for a more simplistic tab with the ability to buy legacy squads for 10k silvers.

I accidental sold my premerge italian MP squad - I really want them back and hear the voice of them.

i can see an hipotetical " adamnpee " coming with the argument " but legacy players deserved that. they grinded it for ".
which it’s not wrong, and i wouldn’t mind.
but at the same time, they released them anyway through time and time.
for example, most of the stalingrad pack items, all but the br V smg.
same went for who grinded the type 2 mortar for the US.
or most event weapons and squads.

Not having access to legacy squads is not that big of a deal now. But if the BR matchmaking ever becomes +/-0, having those extra squads will be very convenient.
They could just re-add them to the tech tree to make it fair. At every point where there is a squad unlock, alter the interface so instead of just viewing the one squad, options are presented.
Get the default squad first and continue to progress through the TT. Then come back later and unlock the rest.
This would be nice. I sold a bunch of Sniper & Flame Trooper Squads because at the time I didn’t feel like I needed so many surplus Sniper/FT Squads, but I kinda wish I had them back now. (Probably sold a few Mortar Squads too now that I think of it)

Id like to get some of the legacy squads i couldn’t get even if it may take a while to grind them wouldn’t matter

my nephew did same “throwing them to trash” my fault?,yes but is sad ;-;
then DF should give us the option to hire “nation specific soldiers” to create our own squads.
I really want the option to choose if I want to hire a german or italian engineer, radio operator, machine gunner, assaulter, sniper … and the same for UK / US.
That shouldn’t be so hard to add

I wouldn’t even mind a buying price of 30k or even 50k. I sold some truly worthless squads (I don’t run any sniper squads) but regret selling others when I was strapped for silver.
This game does not need more silver sinks but at least this one would be optional.
I would also be ok with being able to use Research Points to get a certain number of the same squad type, just adding the legacy squads into these pools, while adding more where needed.
Please note this was a 5 second job in MS Paint … just adding an option to buy X of that squad type would be a great QOL change and make a great option for players to obtain squads for building presets for each BR should they choose to.
