Since Germany going to get STG44 silenced as a new premium it should be good idea to let free squads to use ARs at BR5 as Smgs are not that great and can’t really compete.
Premium guerrillas also should have ability to replace their primary or at very least turn it’s primary into secondary and take full ammo for your preferred gun.
More silenced guns should be added to the other TTs too why only Soviets can have them for free?
I don’t know. Like I get the reasoning for it, especially since the premium squads have silenced ARs. However, guerillas only being able to use SMGs allows for more variety of weaponry at BR V, instead of usual AR/SF spam.
I use 2 MG/Assaulter squads at BR III and above, so being limited to certain weapons isn’t really an issue I encounter. Being F2P, it doesn’t payoff to bring Guerillas after BR II.
This is something I agree with completely. A lot of people are against it, but I think it would add a nice mechanic. Maybe a silencer can be something detachable like a scope or bayonet, but you have to purchase it separately, like a binocular or flask. Or more like grenades, where it costs a substantial amount (400 silver). I might make a suggestion on that actually.
They can easily compete.
But I understand that minmaxers are very insecure about not being able to use top meta stuff.
But no thanks, if you want ARs with guerrillas. Kill a guy with one and pick it up from the ground. That’s how the gimmick of the class is concepted.
Premium/event squads always had exceptions to what weapon type can use. This is not even argument.
I wouldn’t worry about it since they can carry two weapons, my combo would be:
STG44 and some smg like Conders or mp717(r)
Fedorov + PPS-41 drum silenced
Hyde + Tommy drum
Japan has no AR so no change till it’s get added next year
They could easily block them from using more than a single AR and force usage of smgs as their secondary.
They buffed Soviet MGs so i’m using them every game along with Fedorov Avtomat, Feddy Rifle, AVS-36, rmb-50, Tommy 100 + AT-44 (AS-44 sometimes too). Soviets now have better gun variety than Germany that got extremely stale.
That makes more sense. An AR and then a drum mag SMG or pseudo-assault rifle type like the Kiraly would be a brutal setup. They should just let guerillas use all weapons, semi autos, SMGs, ARs, LMGs, etc. If you can pick them up with full ammo, you should be able to buy them.
On a side note, whenever I pick up an enemy weapon with my guerillas, I don’t get full ammo. Is it something you have to unlock or are all my guerillas bugged? Maybe Gayjin’s out to get me because I don’t sacrifice 1 years premium every 12 months.
Probably bugged as a lot of the times i also won’t get full ammo or maybe that “full ammo” is only checking if enemy had ammo pouches or not and if not it gives you default very limited ammo pool.
