Take the Soviet army as an example:
↑BM-13 Rocket in HLL
These rockets can launch not only high explosive rockets, but also smoke rockets, and its exploding range is larger than that of ordinary artillery
i want V-2 as axis
Considering that it should correspond to BM-13, V-1 will be better
I doubt it, if you check the maximum range of other soviet field artillery, most of them are higher than bm13 rocket. Moreover, range is unimportant in Enlisted, you can’t fire into the grey zone not because of ordinary artillery doesn’t have enough range, it is because of the need of protecting their spawn.
I mean, make it more destructive in the game, otherwise it will not reflect the advantages of the third level radio operators
Then you should change range to other word like blast radius or people will be confusing it with firing range.
You are supposing there is a radio-operator 3 planned and there are still usable automatic weapons to give an ipotetical radio-operator 3?
Because if memory dont trick me, each squad come with a gun and following this logic, looking at the actually absurd number of weapons in premium squad and gold one, plus, the stupid powercreep dev follow for the lv unlock…
Mh…
Let me guess in berlin, ak47 for the soviet one and FAL for the german one?
AS44 and STG44……Easy
And for assaulter 4 what? bolter and lasergun?
Needn’t Assault 4.
3 levels are enough
Maybe get our brains beyond the logic of this arcade mode level, otherwise they won’t be able to add anything interesting.
This is the problem itself, they have to solve these problems to possibly add more elements. There is nothing wrong with the new element itself, whether there is a possibility, the problem is the current campaign and level.
If they give up any attempts to improve it, it will mean the content of the game become freeze, or you’re going to see a whole bunch of Stug III A no one use stuffs in the level tree or something, maybe in the future they will make the moon battle just a skin for the current mode. This may be a bad result of this game.
you cant expect a f2p wo need satisfy a huge pool of player, dont be
arcade
If enlisted was buy to play was another story but is not
Laugh in moscow
Anyway I believe that many players are looking forward to a better hardcore mode or historical mode for this game, all faction need a commander at organized match start like RS2, and more ww2 elements, after all they’ve done a lot works fit to that result
I suggest you to go on reddit enlisted were keofox is mostly active and see how mostly user like the arcade approch
And before you reply that this is the offcial forum, we are less than 40 people active and someday this place is empty, and wen there is people 99% of time is only for laugh at some shitpost or cringe read rants
Keo already said is not gonna happen a lot of time the gameplay core dont be changed, because it mean a full rework or an heavy additional work what dev team dont want do
I reorganized the words to reply to this
The truth of the matter is They are the close to a same team and have made a lot of interesting stuff in CRSED. such as PvE, now CRSED’s Zombie mode I don’t know if you have played it, this is also made by their development team.
Take a look at Warthunder, Take a look at Warthunder, who has multiple modes at one, Arcade, PvE, Historical Mode, Enduring Confrontation Mission, Latest Sturmtiger Goliath Mode, They can satisfy a wide variety of players with different tastes
Okay you may say Warthunder is made by a different team. Then take a look CRSED, they made by Darkflow too and share so much code logic in the program. I mean, it’s Enlisted’s twin brother.
Even CRSED has plenty of mechanics and rich game modes for Enlisted to use. Zombie PvE defend mission; Airborne mission; Changeable weather and sunrises and sunsets; All kinds of interesting
Unfortunately, CRSED doesn’t have a lot of WW2 combat themes, so it’s not really my cup of roses, and we can’t use them in the editor at the moment, otherwise I’d really like to turn them on
Now the dev team can spend their time making Gungames and Moonbattles and various UFO sci-fi content. But couldn’t take the time to provide a better and more reasonable hard core ww2 mode in the giant Moscow winter map? This is something that even a part-time editor player can do, couldn’t the dev team do better?
I’m just an average gamer, and even though I couldn’t code the program, I still tried to add these things to the game. Again thanks to the development team who provided us with a huge map and well made editor with ecs system. So why can’t the developer team do this better?
When you know all this, you say oh I want a more decent hardcore mode with WW2 elements in Enlisted, big maps and organized battles. This requires virtually no code development. And if the answer is “no we can’t make it” “its too hard and take lost of works” This is completely illogical.
Maybe all this is just your misunderstanding and not the developer’s real attitude.
Personally, I’d rather have the soul balancing mechanism in CRSED. In the current arcade mode, due to the lack of respadie points, players are abusing all kinds of advanced and powerful weapons, which may not be a problem in arcade mode, but in historical or core mode, there is definitely a limit on the cost of these points to deploy a weapon or do something. Like in CRSED you have to spend hundreds of points to summon a ritual

Even with that logic, they only need a little to fit, because engineer hammers and radio stations are things that can be equipped and disassembled, meaning they can have different functional variations
Of course, if the reader thinks the map is limited by grey zones, that’s entirely an arcade problem, and that can be improved. such as making a history mode in big map with spawn scores to do things

Thanks to the thought raised by this post, I gradually realized that the bm13 Katyusha was already in the game and could be used by players because we actually had a Katyusha model with a skeleton animation and turrets. Maybe I can make a playable Katyusha truck by the end of the week
As44 is already there.
We had this debate for ages now…
The hardcore lone wolf mode sucked hard and no one played/ plays it. We could do this with AI teams but hardcore MP games with AI isnt fun. The idea of malfuctions is heavily disliked by the community (despite the fact that only BAs had a low chance to malfunction), starting from carriers/ bases is not liked as well looking at Asia. They also removed friendly fire from artillery and the last time they tried to create soft ff for explosives, people complained hard about it anf they reverted it
Talking about WW2. This would require not only massive number of replacemente of the campaign levels which Df doesnt want to do, namely specific issues such as the Jumbo. No, but it would also require limitations of squads, guns, explosions whatever, a heavily disliked thing of 80% of the community.
Lets just stick with this weird arcade-realism mixed hybrid they try to achieve.
No one plays, is there a possibility that they didn’t do this thing well, not because this hardcore is not popular.
I’m not here comparing other ww2 fps games with friendly damage and some liitle core mode.
The current arcade mode can be made as it is, and everything is already there anyway.
As what they do to make a Zombie mode for CRSED
I’ve seen tons of buddy players leave, who started out just wanting an infantry War Thunder, came for hardcore gimmicks, and ended up leaving after months of arcade modes that lacked depth and often one-sided combat
They don’t need to throw away anything, whether it’s done well or not.
they just need to increase, As what they do to the moon campaign. Get serious about the WWII elements and not spend your time in other weird places
They just need to make a new mode, something like War Thunder’s EC mode
Of course they can make things as the arcade simple, and at the same time make some elements of the hard core, but first of all we need a larger playable area as map size what they did in CRSED
