Let the Romanians be, Romanians

As depicted below the IAR 80 is flying for one of the more Famous German JG, JG 53, JG 53 never operated the IAR 80, only Romanian Units did, at Stalingrad one posable Naming choice would be:

Grupul 8 Vânătoare

Similarly the Sturzkampfgeschwader 77, flew the Ju 87, Not the Romanian flown Potez 633

Choices for their Units Name’s would be:

Grup 2.Bombardament (15/2 Potez 633B2)
------Escadrilele 74.Bombardament – 9 x Potez.633B2
------Escadrilele 75.Bombardament – 8 x Potez.633B2

I am not entirely sure if the Potez 633 were used over Stalingrad however.

There were Italian C. 200’s and a couple of C. 202’s fighting in the Sector though, that might make fora nice collectors’ plane.

Agree, they have the occasion to put minors axis nations in this campaign and add some variety in the game but they still manage to miss this chance…

DF is lazy. Research takes time and brings back no money.
Why should they add minor axis nations ( such as romanians, among others, who outnumbered all of Germany’s other allies combined at Stalingrad and had unique and interesting vehicles and weapons) when they can call all of them germans and be done with it .

If it were a premium squad however …

Except they’d be totally useless, unless the C.200 is the fighter-bomber version.

I actually get quite a few air kills over Stalingrad, and I don’t know why the C 200 or the CR 42 in war thunder don’t have the 50 kg wing bomb options, especially for the latter because that was what it was really mostly used for later in the war in North Africa was for CAS
