Let the plane take off at the airport

Please let the plane take off from the airport (not in the air) to reduce CAS spam.

At the same time, the airport has an air defense system and can be bombed: if the airport is damaged to a certain extent, one side will lose the ability to air-strike for 5-10 minutes

Without deployment limits, such as the spawn score system or simply limiting the number, with a reward for redeployment and a corresponding penalty mechanism, is unlikely to solve the spam problem.

The author of the theme loves this game. It was as if I had just come into contact with this game and was looking forward to it.

There have been too many specific suggestions like this on the forums, and I’m tired of coming up with new ideas most of the time.


The nice thing is that the details of some of these suggestions have been gradually implemented in the new version, such as the airport and maintenance aircraft suggestions that were made a long time ago, and now we have such a mechanism

But there is still much things for improvement in the game.

In many cases, officials pay too little attention to suggestions. They should publish things like voting :rofl:

It already doesnt work on certain maps such as D-Day or Ver-Sur where the Allies dont have airfield. “Eh, England or carriers?” could be a counter here.
But first of all, no Allied plane here can start from a carrier and secondly it would be a waste of time and ressources to increase the map size until you finally find a historical spot for a airfield. And then think about the time Allied players would need to get to D-Day.

Thats a good reference to another point. Pacific already shows us how horrible the plane controls are (not like thats a surprise here). And slow ass planes have it worse as they need ages to get to the battlefield. Maybe (late-war) fighters wont suffer much but most bombers, heavy attackers and StuKas would suffer as they are not necessary fast.

It will just ruin flying at all and would also make fighter aces hate flying. I dont see the point of making things unfun/ and or unnecessary overcomplicated.

Good idea since most matches are like 15min long. Its also a lazy WT copy+paste and would make one side completely defenseless against grey zone campers, fortified cps/ chokepoints and tanks they might cant pen at ground.

I want an airfield too. When planes spawn they are super close and easy range for suicide bomb. I think this will reduce suicide bombing.

I didn’t like the idea at first, but I really like taking off and landing; I find it much more immersive. Having fun in this game for me is more than just topping the board and maxing my k/d though.

I think a fair solution to the D-day problem is just to leave the mid-air spawns and reloads for the allies in that map. The starting distance and airspeed could be adjusted to balance the time it would take to get to the target area for both sides.

The fact that there are two maps in the game that won’t work with airfields shouldn’t be what stops them from implementing this feature throughout all the campaigns.

Well. Question is if most people will like the change.

It was allready said that this is an excellent idea, also this would probably lower kamikaze runs rate.
This should come with spawn timer removal as it’s allready implemented in Pacific.
