I believe it would be fair for players to be able to trade their appearance orders in exchange for changing their soldier’s height, and most players would enjoy this customization feature.

On the contrary, I want to make them tall.
In WW2, the average height of a Japanese soldier was 5’3". Do you remember when the developers shortened the Japanese soldiers to fit this criteria?

I think this is a bad idea. People can abuse the system to make all of their soldiers very short for a smaller hitbox, which can be very unfair. It should just stay the same imo.

Irrelevant fun fact: when I was tested for mandatory military conscription at age 18 I was found to be exactly 1 mm too tall for military service.
Had I worn thinner socks that day…

There is still an effect on the hitboxes. As miniscule as it is it is still there. I mean, i cant complain, as I play japan so, yeah.
