Well since the mode itself are considered failure in enlisted forum maybe the train can become map prop? I mean it kinda wasteful to let it rot there isn’t it?

Maybe the train can become the objective (stationary of course since escort was a failure)

I dont like how they scrapped the gamemode. It should get rework and not get totally removed. I hope the devs took it down so they could get time to work with it and not just completely abandon the idea

I think there were a lot of suggestions on how Train Escort could have been made more satisfying. I’m too tired to dig them up just like DF was too tired to react to them.

The train itself was not a bad idea but the way the map worked with greyzone was odd and mostly just everyone deserted at the beginning of the match making it pointless. It was not good but you are right to think that something could be salvaged from it.

The way rally points worked on it was super annoying.
And I hated the open platforms at both ends of the train (although it was fun to rack up a billion kills by strafing them with 30mm meatballgeshoss the defender ability to just spawn and sit on it, covered by the loco was frustrating)
