I believe I’ve been playing this game for long enough, with enough gold weapons and gold orders, that I have the right to comment on the new “Battle Pass.”
What I want to say is: please stop disappointing the players. This decision is terrible, both in terms of gameplay and business. What I mean is, no one wants to buy and complete a pass for rewards that don’t mean much to them. Take the recent Halloween event pass, for example—how many of them did you sell? And how many of those who bought the Halloween pass regretted it? The Halloween pass only gave buyers two meaningless squads and a few useless weapons. The new Battle Pass rewards are no different—they fail to generate any desire to buy.
In the past, we could use Gold Cards to get the weapons we wanted. But now? Another PPSH? A Japanese semi-auto rifle? The Soviet just got a 75-round drum PPD, and we’ve already received plenty of the Fedorov automatic rifle in previous events. Even new players joined after the merge update have already gotten better assaulter weapons than the PPSH, not to mention veterans who’ve long been equipped with the AS44 and Fedorov rifles. Now, looking at the PPSH-45, I’m not even sure what to do with it. Luckily, this game doesn’t have Tarkov-style inventory space limitations, or I’d have no idea how to handle it. The Japanese BR5 is already overpowered, and creating squads with the BR3 has no real purpose. I imagine the Japanese automatic rifle might be a good help for Japanese newers, but for those in the who already have the imaginary automatic rifle, it’s pretty useless.
Additionally, if I were a new player, I would definitely want the rewards to be for the faction I’m currently playing. Previously, we could complete the Battle Pass and exchange gold orders for the most useful items for ourselves. But now, with gold orders being removed, buying and completing the Battle Pass feels even more pointless.
Why can’t we keep our gold orders and use them for the weapons we want, both now or in the future? This should be our basic right. I call on Darkflow to not change the Gold Card system and to leave us the freedom to choose.

I heard many people say that then don’t buy this BP and save your gold for the next one. But they fail to understand one thing. The BP is not only about GO weapons, vehicles and soldiers. It also contains a lot of xp boosters, silver, cosmetic orders, weapon, soldier and vehicle upgrade orders and what not. The fact that the new BP will be of 30 days means we will see these good rewards in much greater frequency than what used to be the case earlier. Now I need to sit for 3 months and miss out on all these rewards since I don’t find interest in any of the guns that they are adding up until March 2025.
I have no gold orders,knowing that we won’t be getting more is pretty sad.

If they modify their plans to keep the store and gold orders (instead of just getting the weapons) this is a solid upgrade

I ended up regretting the halloween pass cuz it was very monotonous and randoms are just horrendous.
I’ve been saving up many gold orders and now I am angry because I no longer get those, I liked having options and it sounds like this battlepass is only a downgrade.
Ppl hoarding gold orders, even blue event orders, not using them, then complain if they disappear.
Why complain, since they dont use them anyway?
Want to wait forever for something that they want to buy?
Then they finally find 1 thing that they actually want to have and just keep the many remaining orders for years again?
I think the change is good.
Yes it sucks being limited in choice, doesnt feel nice.
But on the other hand, getting stuff instead of orders, may motivate ppl to actually use the stuff, which they normally would never use, they may even like it.
What an absurdly bad take. The inventory system is terrible, ofc they will hoard GO’s when they have such a bad inventory system. Its much more neat. Not to mention why spend GO’s when your not going to use them straight away, as opposed to being able to outfit an entire squad at once with a GO you do like.
These are all GOs they earnt sweating away in events and etc. How they use them is up to them.
Its not like they are hoarding for the sake of screwing over others. Not to mention those who are hoarding atm will do well when the so promised “consideration” to bring back all past GO’s for a “temporary” period of time.
And you know the real kicker here, the fact they are just about to introduce the try it out system to all weapons including GO’s so you can test and see if you like it first. The Irony actually stings its so strong there.
Why on earth would you cheer for that choice to be taken away.
Changes should be made to enrich the gameplay (like guerrilla and the obrez)and improve the balance of the game, not to break a well-established BP system.
oh idk probably cause they hope that old GO will be rerun in the future so they can use their GO on it?
