Some weapons give more than one kill for a single kill.
Sometimes they do, sometimes they dont.
Dont know why.
So I shoot one guy in the back with the blunderbuss and get two kills:
Same weapon but 3 kills:
Different weapon also.

Yeah I got killed by someone yesterday and when they killed me it said eliminated x3. I wasn’t paying attention to the scoreboard to see if their score actually jumped up 3 kills after killing me though or if its just a visual bug or whatever.

I played 2 battles, recorded them, watched them, saw several multikills with the blunderbuss (it gives 1, 2 or 3 kills) and one double kill with the sawed off shotgun.

if you kill the same guy in a row twice (or more) it will show you as a double kill, but it should only count as normal (+1/kill)

Of course not, it isn’t designed as a “great tactical mind” event. It’s designed for the “chicken with its head cut off” submachine gun spammer base
