You mean the people that play the game all week long and often do it because its their job? Colour me surprised.
Yes, but they wonât change it. You can try making a thread about making all obtainable gear cost the same amount of orders, but do you honestly think theyâd change it?
You mean the streamers that shilled 250$+ to get that far? The normal grinders are at like level 15 or so.
lmao what a logic git gud âŚwhales will destroy this game i
By now like level 20, or fully leveled if they only play one campaign
I see you clipped out 98% of my response and then put it in something NOT related. And I did NOT do that to you before you claim that shit
Whatâs wrong with you?
implying that pumas running over masses of men requires skillâŚ
Great Photoshop!
Idk why ppl hate this idea so much. They are like âbut it is overpowered and a no brainerâ not only is it not overpowered cose ur bots will most likely get dead if you try to place a minefield in somewhat of a good spot. But also you need some brain matter to calculate where to put the minefield to kill somone before they realize the mines
Honestly donât know how its hard to know where to place mines. AT mines go in roads. Infantry mines go in doors and common chokepoints. Really not that difficult and the only counter is for the enemies to throw explosives everywhere they plan to go. I can only think of Normandy beach with the Germans planting mines everywhere. The allies would literally never get up the hills if they ever got off the beach to begin with.
Imagine putting some AT mines on the roads that are left/right of the first point. Literally no way to evade those lol. Or at the slow S shaped incline part, just put 10 mines in a row there.
First ones (little gates) can be evaded through holes in the wall. But that path later would truly be hell for tanks if spammed with mines.
I rarely see those holes been made
Probably most people still donât know about them. I didnât knew until few days before OBT. But still they are the way to go around
Can tanks even get through there?
Yeah, I was very surprised one time when I saw tank getting through hole on the left German flank after I blocked those gates with hedgehogs.
no, nyet, nein, nada.
if there is one thing that must be avoided, is spam of mines.
which iâll tell you, they did not a very good job. because currently, with just the regular infantry trooper squad ( that is even a starter squad ) down the line, i can fill each singular individual with mines.
resulting in 9 mines per squad.
if i want, i could call a friend and perhaps reach 18 mines with just two squads.
what can you do with 18 mines?
well, letâs just say start with 9.
i can put at least 5/6 mines to doors, windows, bunker entrances, all around or inside trenches. and lastly, with 3/4 At mines i can just prevent any tank from crossing the point, or even think about crossing any main road.
so, for no reason at any cost anyone should be able to build mines.
but thatâs what i think.
Mines are kind of a bad idea of begin with in the game, they are an area denial weapon intended to be used in mass and that is part of a larger defensive plan, not a hasty kind of thing like the game portrays. You just donât send combat engineers out to sow a minefield when the enemy is already overrunning the area, itâs too late for that.
Thatâs exactly what I was saying from the beginning. But here we are now and the mines are present. At least their ammount was reduced after feedback for devblog. Without that They would most likely go with the same slots as grenades and one soldier would have a chance to bring 4 mines instead of 1.
Which is why the suggestion from OP is bad, nullifying these precautions made by the devs to prevent spam.
I wouldnât mind a minefield command for all troops in the squad to plant their one mine that they had to get from orders in an area, but giving mine loadouts to engineers and mine crates is a no for me.
