Hopefully part of the announcements to come. We don’t know the whole tech tree yet so there is endless possibility right now.
Landing craft seem weird but something like the AB Tei in the Pacific would be great.
Maybe this can be added to D day

I want to see Shohatsu and Daihatsu in this game!
Japanese Army’s fleet was the most important military type in the Pacific War, and the various landing equipment they operated was a symbolic armament of the Japanese army.
Especially, Daihatsu had excellent design, and idea of bow lamp is copied by American LCVP. Also, this weapon was used by not only army but also navy, and naval license production model was equipped on various warships.

Especially, Daihatsu (大発/大発動艇, large motorboat) can equip anti-tank gun and machine guns to intercept enemy PT-boats. and ace Daihatsu captains call himself the “Tiger of the Solomon”!
In addition, landing crafts can equip other unique weapons but they will not be suitable for game.

At the late of war, Japanese army equipped 20cm rocket launcher on Daihatsu to destroy landing fleets
Also, in naval service some of them equipped torpedoes to destroy enemy warships as substitute of motor torpedo boats.
Toku-Daihatsu (N-LB-D), a landing craft expanded for Type 97 medium tank Chi-ha (Daihatsu could carry only Type 89 MT and Type 95 LT) also equipped Type 96 15cm howitzer to support landing operations. Massive firepower of the cannon can destroy enemy coastal positions.
In addition, they built more large boat for new tank, Chi-To. Different to Daihatsu, it had four 20mm cannons to defend itself.
