The current state of the game is kind of rough because all the new updates are just adding more and more extremely late war tech that high br doesn’t even feel like ww2 anymore. The next logical step would be to either go back to ww1 or go into cold war, korea being the best option. But that really isnt possible unless the playerbase sees significant growth and more tiers can be added. Just wondering if anyone has an idea on how more content can be added to the game.

There is still "alot’"more early/mid war and subfactions equipment to add:
to name a few areas
- Commonwealth
- France
- Hungary
- Italy
- Romania
- Finland

I think that’s a solid point but the more niche factions didn’t really have unique weapons. Britain france and italy are the only 3 that had unique equipment, but all of italy and britain standard issue stuff has been covered. Finland used mainly german and russian weapons, and romania and hungary had a couple light tanks, but nothing else unique. same thing with china, they used mostly lendlease weapons from all over the place. And there’s only so much minor stuff you add before it gets boring. Player counts go up when a new faction or campaign/time period is added, not when a romanian rifle is added
i legit think finland would be a fascinating country in enlisted because they fought both the soviets early in the war then the germans later in the war, and used captured equipment from both

Also finnish civil war would be interesting conflict to fight in enlisted. It could work as a limited time event
It’s very surprising that in purely WW2 game there’s a lack of Cold War.
Who would expect such a thing?

Anyone who has played WT 
think game will stop, when all WW2 stuff added?, and say thats it, we make a new game for next conflict, they just keep adding going like WT. 
be nice to be lvling a new BR 7 army stuff, for when you finished trees

The potential for WWII content is still huge. Especially considering that Enlisted takes prototypes into account much more than WT does.

Not to burst your bubble but this is a WW2 game. I dont think we’ll ever see the cold war. As others have pointed out, theres still a boat load of WW2 content that can be added. New factions, tons of locations, weapons, vehicles.

Really? I think warthunder take proto (and paper) into account more than enlisted tbh I mean look at the Horten that thing is beautiful but idk how i feel about it tbh
War thunder also used to be an only ww2 game. Theres no other direction for the game to expand
WT also said they would never ever add capital ships to naval and guess what happened
There is soooooooooooooooooo much more WW2 that can and will be added into this game. Why do people act like we’re scraping the bottom of the barrel when there is still so much more. If anything we’ve barely scratched the surface
Personally I don’t want this game to ever leave WW2 but if it ever did that won’t be for a loooooooooong time because there is still so much to add
So many more maps, weapons, vehicles, etc. This is the greatest war of all time in size, scope, and scale…and people want to jump to miscellaneous wars that pale in comparison. They don’t call it WORLD…WAR…TWO for nothing
I even say people should stop bringing up muh other wars at this point in time
they could still add nebelwerfer and flak 88 for engy to build tbh so there are definitely more thing that can be added

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t the Devs say they are not interested in making this game anything other than world war II, at least at this time?
If they realistically want to get more players, then they will have to add something big. And the only big ww2 thing they have to add is france faction. besides that, maybe some new maps, but nothing special. The only interesting maps they could add would be new pacific ones, we already have enough africa, russia, and europe. Adding in a prototype tank is not anywhere near enough to hold people over.
Ah yes. We can get new commonwealth factions! Its not like the british colonies used the exact same weapons as the british. Why add in new content when you can add in the same old faction, but this time they are all brown!
Can you give me an example of the new maps that could be added? Because all the maps people have talked about are pretty similar to stuff we already have. Like for example rzhev was just added, but its just moscow with new buildings. Bulge was something new, but thats about where the new stuff ends
