Actually I never noticed that the US ones are AT - huh - learn something new every day.
But there is no Soviet equivalent - they never made one - only HE fragmentation. - it is a WW1 system never updated for AT work - in hte 1930’s hte improved the ballistics of the grenade is all.
Except bolt action rifles, Vickers-Berthier LMG, all early tanks, most early a/c, and all level 1 troop types where there is level 2 or higher - they only remain until you can afford to replace them
For balance sake they could give them ‘captured’ AT rifle grenades like they do for both Panzerfausts on Berlin.
It’s not like we’re striving for Historical Accuracy after all.
@GeneralBrus I think all weapons still have their place if used correctly.
I dont have my squads with end gear equipment even though I have the resources to do so. I find mixed loadouts work best for me, and some weapons I’m more comfortable with than others. Endgame does need more, more modes, grand campaign etc. One day hopefully.
You guys must play this for hours every day if there is literally NO grind left for you guys. I assume you’re talking solely about campaign though. Still, that’s 256 levels that you grinded across 8 Campaign lines. There’s still stuff to grind though, because I highly doubt that even if you did all 256 levels currently in game, you haven’t maxed out all 186 squads alongside making sure every soldier within those squads have max level and are fully equipped with max level weapons. This doesn’t include the 74 vehicles currently in game that could be maxed out. This is all F2P content too, there clearly is enough in game to grind for.
imagine, if at your squad set up, you had to chose, whether you pick an elite soldier with
a scoped STG OR an extra soldier with just a MP 40.
There are ways to balance low lvl weapons besides weapon performance itself.
Other Idea, what if a Panzer II would cost less tickets than a Tiger for example?
Or what if bolt action soldiers get to carry an extra grenade?
If you could choose between a 4 man elite squad with FG 42 or a 12 man group of volkssturm with just Kar 98?
No one cares about tickets. At least not according to the massive waste of tanks and planes. And defenders do not have any tickets at all.
Grenade pack gives more.
FG. 9 men squads are overrated. Harder to control/ pet and usually just means that you can carry two more rifle plebs. 9 men prem. squads in Berlin, Moscow and Tunisia sounds nice, but not if you only get 9 riflemen.
I see the point of your ideas though but taking the FG as example it would only work with restrictions at this point and I dont think all people would like it to loose their allrounder-class FG.
You got a point but I rather have the Developers right now work on balancing and the main mechanic of the game as they do right now which is a good step in the good direction.
It’s like I said, there’s already enough in game that I don’t think the people here complaining about lack of content have actually completed. 256 levels, 186 squads, 74 vehicles. Squads could be upgraded, soldiers within those squads could be upgraded and kitted out, alongside the weapons being upgraded, and the vehicles could be upgraded.
The whole grind system is garbage…you need to play 100-200hours with each faction from each campaign to get better weapons and squads then you get the end of it and you became hollow, why? I’ll let you know, because if they would have just given those guns from the beginning you could still enjoy this game for what it is, but you are empty now because you got fooled by a grinding system thats pointless in any way. You thought you will be rewarded but this grind is really nothing, its only an obstacle to the fun and when you worked for the game, you can enjoy it but your perspective already changed. (Sorry for bad english I tried to express my feelings and thoughts)
Ps.: I love this game so much for the gameplay, but I really hate the fact that, most of the fun is locked for hundreds of hours…
If you want to spend that much time - sure - lots of people have posted how they’ve maxed this or that campaign, often 2 or more… but if all you are playing for is a grind hten… well… boy do they love you for your dedication - either as a paying customer, or as fodder for the paying customers to keep them coming.
