Yes you need to perform a near perfect hit with solid shot, while pzg39 can hit anything in a sphere based the area of penetration inside of the enemy tank because of how gaijin coded it

Except you forgot to mention the T34, T50, KV1 turrets are not flat but round shaped, so is only the thin line of the center of the turret you can pen without bouncing compared to 40% of the Pz IV turret and including the barrel and breach you can effectively one shot to destroy or disable, you seriously compare that shite to those tank is just funny

or we swap tiger 1 and panther around in TT placement and BR placement so tiger 1 goes down to br 4 t4 while panther goes to br5 t5

Tigers were actually in Tunisia and came out before the Panther. This BR system has some huge problems. Tigers were not in Stalingrad. They arrived too late for operation winter storm. With the KV deal with it just like the Germans historically did.

Getting back to the original question for those of us that are history nerds we like that fact that we feel that terrible fear when we see the outline of a KV and relief when its only a BT. Its what every German soldier would have felt in 1941.
For those of you that want a ballance BR well yes, it sucks!!
Simple, remove the requirement of each squad spawning one in every three, and disallow spawning the same class of squad back to back.
Sure, that still allows assault-tank-plane, or assault-tank-assault, but at least you don’t end up with doomstack back-to-back STG44 squads, or BR3 PzIVJ, PzIVG, PzIVF2 cylce.
